Imhof & Mukle flute orchestrion plays "Grande Valse Brillante, Op. 6"

  • Originally built as an barrel organ in the 1860's, this lovely instrument was both imported and subsequently converted to paper roll operation by Imhof & Mukle at the turn of the 20th century. It is heard here playing a piano concert piece, the "Grande Valse Brillante, Op.6" composed by J. Schulhoff.

    I think I have a roll that may fit that organ. I recognise the colour & thickness of the roll shown here.

      Very interesting! The owner happens to be missing a couple of rolls from this instrument's original library. What piece is on the roll?

      The channel owner’s name is Lucas. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t own either the organ or the roll. Maybe he can help you find someone to reach out to about that.
