    Great idea Tony. Love the way you don’t show any preferences. Can you do some more videos of hotels around Princes St , maybe highlight those within walking distance of the train station. Cheers, thanks for the weekly videos

    Love Rose Street. Have had meals in several of those establishments.
    Princes Street Gardens is in it's glory right now. Would love to see the Botanical Gardens in bloom. My best to you, Kirsten, Lillian and the Boys.

      @@nickijack365 Not from Edinburgh but.... May. Early May when the Botanical Gardens are in full bloom. Always get there just at the end and there is a spectacular variety of flowering species there. May!

    Thank you, pleased to have found your videos. Feeling nostalgic about Edinburgh as I watch this video today as you walk along Rose Street. Born, lived and enjoyed Edinburgh for fifty plus years, now in Ontario Canada. I have not visited for seven years now and quite a lot seems to have changed. Still got Greggs I see, hope to return soon after Covid is over.

    Most enjoyable thank you Tony. I always did love Edinburgh in the Spring. We’re a month behind you here in Ontario, and those shots of the cherry blossoms made me feel a little homesick, even after 53 years.

    I'm glad to see that there is still so many options in Rose Street to eat especially after Covid. In 2019 we brought food from Greggs for lunch on the go when visiting Edinburgh my husband became obsessed with Greggs. Looking forward to checking out more of the options when we visit in November/December. Another fun and informative video.

    Hey you missed M&S food, you walked past the back entrance but maybe you would class it as being on Princes street I just know they have a cafe in there and we entered from Rose street. they had the best scones as they were still hot and they served them with jam and clotted cream.

    • @Kakibot
      @Kakibot 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Tony next time you are in the State's and want pancakes, go to one of the many wonderful Mom & Pop places. You will be overwhelmed by the number of unique and amazing pancakes. Over here I Hop (International House Of Pancake) is for late night's after drinking or bringing your screaming kids during the day, not to mention way overpriced. I guess you can say I Hop over here is to what a Gregg's is over there.

    Watched this one on the big screen. Wonderful food selection on the street! Y’all don’t pronounce the ‘t’s in the middle of words. EX: lil for little. Here in the American South we drop ‘g’s at the end of words. Sittin’ instead of sitting.
