To erase a fingerprint of someone who didn't leave on good terms, you can factory reset the lock and set everything up again. It's not ideal, but it is an option.

Just bought it and thought it was connected (smart) but it is not ! The reason I bout that was to be able to lock it from distance from my phone… unfortunately it’s not possible
Although It does require you to sign in and give your info to Philips(or some other data company) …. I would not recommend buying this lock from my experience and thinking to return it.
