To erase a fingerprint of someone who didn't leave on good terms, you can factory reset the lock and set everything up again. It's not ideal, but it is an option.
I just installed mine today. The app now can manage all the codes and fingerprints. Yes, you can remove your ex's fingerprints there without their cooperation.
It was painful watching you create all the pin codes from the door keypad. I still bought it because it's a one-time thing. But I was able to do it from the app, so, no sweat for me. Copy paste from my previous Yale Assure Lock 2 which had been really terrible. The only gripe I have about it is that physical keys which I prefer not to have because it's less secure - it can be picked like any traditional lock. Any pointers on that? I'm thinking of installing a lock-kill mechanism. Is it a terrible idea?
I read some negative reviews about the fingerprint reader, saying that they have been able to open the lock with unregistered fingerprints, which would make the lock insecure and useless. Have you done those tests? Thank you.
Just bought it and thought it was connected (smart) but it is not ! The reason I bout that was to be able to lock it from distance from my phone… unfortunately it’s not possible Although It does require you to sign in and give your info to Philips(or some other data company) …. I would not recommend buying this lock from my experience and thinking to return it.
Hi. dose it work outdoor? want to install to garden door

Can you turn off the auto-lock?
My plate dose not have an area to put the cable through
When I put the batteries in it’s making a sound and not working
Great!!
On the app can u unlock it and lock it
No, this model will only generate single-use codes (works without an internet connection).

Mine definitely hasn’t been working with unregistered fingerprints.
