- Geoff sits in at Friday Night Jazz at Westminster Church in D.C. He has the honor of playing with D.C's finest jazz musicians: Allyn Johnson (keys), Michael Bowie (Bass), Harold Summey (drums), Paul Carr (Sax) and Tom Williams (trumpet), who graciously sat out on this number.
Hey Geoffrey, where ever You are, let me tell You, You are God's special gift to mortals like us.
Your easy enthralling style captivates no end.
God Bless. Stay Healthy
Play on, and on and on.
Regards and wish You abundant success in all that You endeavour.
All the way from Bombay, India.
Clarence and Penelope
This kids got SOUL. Real soul. :)
I have played trumpet for 50 years, and with some great bands, GIVE this little what he deserves, he is a natural player, or these great players would not let him play. Keep it up Geoffrey. Ronnie Witherspoon
thanks for those kind words, Ronnie....appreciate that
what part of the country do u live in? have u been to my website www.geoffgallante.com ?
Have a great Holiday, and thanks, I live in Florida, and it is really hot now. I'm going to play my usual salute to those who gave it all up. Taps at a picnic celebration, no charge...
GeoffreyGallante I live in Florida, and try to watch for players and music that I enjoy, this just happened to be one....
Nice to see the kid go "mano a mano" with the sax. It proves he's not just memorising a solo and playing it back unlike many jazz solos you hear on YT
WOW this is fantastic.......... a future James Morrison !!!
GO HEAD LITTLE MAN!!!! YOU ROCKED THAT! :-)
A true prodigy. I understand he is equally gifted on the piano. Bravo!
Hello Geoffrey, Two thumbs up and hats off to you. You have an incredible, God given talent. . My wife and I enjoy listening to your great music. Thank you. Bob and Linda, Canada.
Why not? Jazz is music of the soul.
Geoff is indeed a great young musician. He brings new energy to the trumpet and sweet sounds.
Good to meet Geoff & his parents at The Legendary Deerhead Inn, Deleware Water Gap PA in 2015.

Geoff's tonguing technique is Great! He doesn't overuse the double an triple tonguing but only uses it when it "says something". Great phrasing and improvisation, great talent.
What an AWESOME collection of outstanding muscians this is! Every one of these guys is a star in their own right!

this was not a church service. this is 'Friday Night Jazz" that is held at this church in Washington D.C. Every Friday night they have different jazz musicians perform.
GOOD LORD :)
He'll become someone of sandovals format. how COOL he is while playing oh my god..
The kid is really talented. But Jazz Night...at church? Wow.
OMG
It just can`t be real 😲
Awwww shiiiiiiii....😳😳😳😳😂😂😂😂
Jazz night at church...church at a bar. Why not?
There are a lot of churches that do it man. A lot of churches have jazz services.
Yes, it's called Jazz Vespers.
"Bye Bye Blackbird" is, last time I looked, not a worship song, my brother. It's one thing to have worship music that has jazz style. It's another thing to turn God's house into an entertainment center.
Gods house welcomes all!
Gods house welcomes all!
How old is Geoff in this video?
He is not even Chinese, just very good ,how and what he plays, and well tuned, good phrasing.

Seriously?
A great player but needs to check his attitude at the door.
What is this attitude you keep commenting about really? if anything you should stop with your judging nonsense. Seriously.
