I loved his perspective and how he really appreciated how you clean for y'all! PLEASE DON'T GIVE INTO THE RECLINER!!!! I did and still regret it to this day. Oh my God, yesss! The moving around the stuff in the bathroom, #1 pet peeve! Maybe I also need to film myself cleaning the bathroom to show my partner, and then he'll get it too bahaha!
Hahaha! This was really great. I compromised and let him get a dark brown recliner that looked like it belonged in a jet (not a home) over the beautiful ivory cozy looking couch we had planned on getting. He just looked so happy sitting on the reclining couch, I couldn't say no. To be fair, it is actually very comfortable and comes with cup holders & storage (yeah... convenient, but not exactly cute). Then I regretted it. Oh, I regretted it. It just looked so "bachelor", not cozy. Then I got over it because there's no way we'll be replacing it any time soon, and so I decided to decorate it with a huge beautiful blanket (that I adjust to lay on it "just so" every single day), one additional faux fur blanket, and a bunch of throw pillows. It looks 1000x cuter, and he actually loves it more because it made it extra cozy and really did brighten up the living room. It really is not easy to make one of those look pretty, lol, but I think I succeeded... kinda. I mean, I tried. There are recliner couches that are actually easier to make look cute than the one we got, though, but he wanted "that" one 😂 I can't say no to that face though.
So funny! I'm glad you've found a way to style it in a way that you like! I'm sure he's grateful to have his comfy spot. My hubby isn't so lucky. 😅 Maybe one day I'll cave! 😉
