It always makes me livid when I’m happily driving along and then come upon a road closed sign, why on earth do they let you waste fuel having to turn around and find another route it’s not difficult to put signs up to let you know the roads closed further up the road and save all that bother
I know, it's just stupid. Luckily I had space to turn around there or I would've had to reverse in traffic. They just don't use their melons sometimes 😁 Thanks for watching John 👍

@@TruckerFloz they get a bad press but are lovely dogs if brought up properly. Very loyal, very excitable, and very sulky! Sometimes. Ours gets on very well and looks after our other dog who is a jack Russell rescued from Hungarian killing station. He even taught her how to play. Bless him.

Cheers James. I would of used them if I had any. I used them before. To be fair the card board did a good job. I've even saved them in case I need them again but I've managed to get plastic corners when I dropped that load in Poole. There were loads on the ground from other trailers so picked the good ones up and now I have a full set again. 😂😂

Thanks Mark 😁 Yeah the curtains are dangerous sometimes especially in windy conditions. Glad I had my glasses on on this occasion though 😂 Maya is the center of attention in the house now and she's doing so well with the kids. She plays with them all day long if they're up for it. Tom is a genuine guy. We constantly chat since then 😁

Have fun with your new puppy I lost my 13 year old Golden Retriever 2 years ago and still miss her every day I feel exactly how you felt when you lost your previous dog.Great video as always mate.

Rad close no diversion signs typical. When I did steel work back in the mid 80s comming back from Cambridge to Bristol came down the M11 got to a muddy round about where they were building the M25 no signs to any where . My mate was driving after half hour I said where going the wrong way as we had no maps No he said I know where Im going little later I said again where going the wrong way the suns on my left shoulder we need to head for that keep the sun just left of the inside mirror. Soon picked up the M4 , clever little buger arnt you he said, No I just want to get home tonight lol

Hi Andrew, all is good. Thank you very much. I'm just taking a little break to spend more time with my family. Work is not great at the minute either so nothing to vlog about, plus I need some time to connect with my kids. I feel I didn't do much with them throughout the year. They missed me so much and I missed them too so I had to take a break. I will be back though. Hopefully, work will be better next year too. How are you? Hope you had a happy Christmas with your loved ones ❤️

I can only control when they show but cannot change the number of adverts TH-cam will show. The only workaround I know is to install an add block program or subscribe to TH-cam Premium... Hi Floz, you are one of the nicest people on TH-cam, regarding the Staffie, I was devastated when my lovely old dog died and like you I didn't want another dog, I gave in and we also have a Staffie, she is about 4 years old her name is Skyler, we call her Sky, although she is a powerful muscular dog, she is gentle and loveable, she waits every day for the Postman to come so he can stroke her, she welcomes everybody so not a guard dog.

one of the best vids ive watched by far but when u started talking bout dogs i was looking back on memories of my dog who lived to be 17 yrs old and my Grandfathers dog which lived to be 16yrs old heart broken when we had no alternative but to let them sleep as such. It brought a lovely tear to my eye knowing both dogs had such a wonderful life as well.

My previous dog waited for me to come home. I was working abroad when she got ill and as soon as I've found out about her I booked a flight home. Came home to see her and within 2 hours she was gone bless her. Probably that's why I was so heart broken knowing that she was waiting for me.... Bloody hell I'm crying now 😥
Hi buddy 🚛💨 brilliant video! I like the quality of your voice through those Rode Wireless mic, sounds amazing! I use DJI Wireless mic but to be honest I need to get used to it because the quality of my voice it's not so great, if you can give me a tip I would really appreciate it like if you change anything in the settings or if you change anything in post-production. Thanks in advance!
Hi mate, thanks 😀 I don't do much in post production with the sound apart from reducing the levels, normalising the sound and occasionally applying a noise reduction filter. I use Davinci Resolve to edit the videos. The free version is fantastic but I have a paid one to take advantage of my computer's power plus some other bits enabled in paid version. The Rode mic has 3 gain settings and because it's quite close to my mouth it's always set at minimum gain. Still the sound is too loud sometimes that's why I have to reduce it in post production but generally it's fine the way it is recorded. Always try to keep the sound within yellow graph. If it goes on red it's bad as you can hear distorsion but if it was recorded with distortion you can't do much to fix the sound. So minimum gain, windows shut when recording whilst driving, aircon not blowing in the mic and generally speak with a normal voice at normal level. In post production try to normalise the sound of your video and if it's to much noise try to apply a noise reduction filter. Hope that helps. If you need more info please let me know

Love watching your vids Floz, you are such a positive bloke. When your pup is older, will you have Her on the road with you, or will the bairns miss her too much. Seeing that blinding sunshine at the end, reminded me of when I wrote my Car off about 6 years ago. It was early morning and the Sun suddenly appeared over the Rooftops blinding me and I hit a double decker Bus.😲😲😲 No one was hurt but my Volvo was well crumpled up. All the best mate, I wish you had a vlog every day, you always give me the feel good factor.
Ohh thanks Peter. Glad you were not hurt in the accident. Yeah the sun is very bright now and if the road is wet is even worse 😑 The reflection makes it impossible to see sometimes. I think I will take her with me when I can. I see loads of truck drivers with their dogs in services walking them 😀

Hi floz great choice of dog getting a staffy there a fantastic dog had 1 for 16 years he was absolutely brilliant after he passed the terrible 2's🤣 you and your family will have to be quick on your guard because staffys love chewing anything especially shoes slippers and tv remote controls so have a packet of biscuits at hand because my dog was a master at holding everything to ransom for a custard cream biscuit
😂😂😂 She's already destroyed my garden and chewed on the staircase and skirting boards 😂 I had to build a fence to keep her away from the artificial grass as she was trying to dig it too 😂 She's a right character but I wouldn't change anything about her... We love her so much 💗
