Baptized in Jesus' name on Feb 2, 2023, at night in hotub. Justified and washed in Christ🙌 pray the enemy keeps me from doubt! He tried to make me doubt moments after I came up out of the water because I've been baptized before, but I really needed to be baptized again and know for sure I am baptized. I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit the next day, but then the enemy started attacking me with doubt and confusion about that baptism. I think he was mad that I did it right this time.
39:35 Derek Prince says, "Jesus never offers any guarantee of salvation to those who believe without being baptized."
This is a false gospel to the core. Derek Prince taught a false gospel of works-salvation, because he says you must do water immersion (a work) to be saved. It is fundamentally opposed to God's word. The Bible makes it very clear that salvation is a free gift from God, and it's received through faith/belief in Jesus, not works.
In John 3 :4-8 jesus said himself:

4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

I hope the one who baptized you had authority beyond man to do so. You can be baptized 1000 times and they all mean nothing to heaven if they are not done by those who like the apostles had authority.
@@karlshaner2453 how do we know as baby Christians? This is what I'm afraid of. I was raised Mormon and by the grace of God he showed me the truth if this false religion. I've never even been to a true Christian church. I'm surrounded by Mormon churches. I found one in next town but I don't know if this preacher is legit or not yet, I'm desperate to find a true teacher like the apostles I learned about it the Bible. Do they even exist? @@karlshaner2453 I tried to return to m.j y roots. I wanted to come back to the Lord and I started to read the Bible as an adult for the first time. I felt I truly knew there Lord Jesus Christ for the first time in my life. I also was confused because it contradicted Mormon doctorine on so many occasions and levels. I then started reading the Book of Mormon again. Then the Doctorine and Covenants for the first time in my life. While reading it, I heard almost an audible voice that told me "these are not my words, this is not me." I TRIED to read on but I felt truly disgusted in a way. I stopped reading it for a while and then started reading it again. There were so many occasions where it didn't jive with what Jesus said when he was here on earth. I realized the author was literally saying Jesus changed his mind about many things. Why would he do that? Why would he spend his ministry here on earth teaching one thing and then come back and say essentially ok I forgot to tell you about all these other things, these new rules, these things you're required to do to that I forgot to mention. I wanted to just not think about it because I was so excited to go back to church, because I had spent my life in this church. My dad was so excited i was coming back, my daughter was going to church with him and had just turned 8. I didn't want to accept the feelings I had and refused to look into it. To look into the truth about the LDS church. The Holy Spirit would not let it go, things would pop up on my feed and i would reluctantly watch them. I decided if I wanted to know the truth I would use only the LDS church's information. One thing after another I had to deal with. Lie after lie. I was shocked. Joseph Smith lied about so many things. The church doesn't share this information of course but they don't deny it. For example, the Book of Abraham, the fact that he literally pencilled in missing parts of the papyrus. The fact that he is completely wrong about it. It's Osiris. The God that Cern is trying to raise from the dead. Freemasons worship him. Joseph Smith was a Freemason. 33rd degree freemason. You swear to Lucifer at this stage. There's masonic handshake, all seeing eye, pentagrams, in and in the temples. I mean i have found so many lies and disturbing occult practices. Plagiarism. I mean this sure doesn't sound like a prophet of God. There are so do many other things. I'm so grateful to God for showing me the truth. I pray you are no longer blinded by these false teachings. God is the creator. He never said in the Bible we can be Gods too. How can we become a God as a created being? The LDS church dismisses anyone's questions by saying just have faith. I have faith. Faith in jesus. Faith in God that he wouldn't allow the Bible to be changed to fit a mans agenda. He doesn't change his mind. He is Holy. He can't. He told us he's the same today, yesterday and forever more. I pray you will think about it. Read the Bible again and come to know Jesus. Just because a church calls itself the Church of Jesus Christ, doesn't mean it is.
@@allisonschmidt639 My advice is the same, only I would add... Prayer, fasting, ignore the voices that would stop you from reading the book to completion. Did you watch the video I linked? I would hope so. I am in my 60s and can tell you, of a truth...You are mistaken about everything you think you know about lies and misunderstand many things you consider evil and it is clear where your influence (not good ones) came from. Before you might call me naive or ignorant to the things that are said(many on your list), know that I have studied each and every one of them and asked the Lord to help with the truth.
Before I sign off let me ask you this. Who on earth has the 2 Priesthoods established by the Almighty? Who has the Temple of God? If they worship Lucifer why are the works that the Lord said would be among his saints among them? Choose to do as the Lord commands and "Prove all things". Unless he is over 2000 years old, he is not a prophet. Prophets and apostles layed the foundation of the church. Being the foundation having been established, there is no need for them. Paul was the last apostle.

@@Idnewelad I totally relate. I try listening to other well known preachers at different times, but I come running back to Derek Prince. I also do like David Pawson as well. But Derek Prince cannot be matched. I have grown so much in my spiritual walk by listening to him. What a blessed man. It's really weird but I only came across him this year - since lockdown. I had never heard of him before. Everything he says rings true in my heart and my spirit is so joyful and I have such a better understanding of what is means to be a Christian. Thank you Lord Jesus because even though Derek Prince is no longer alive, God is still using him mightily. But I always think what it would have been like to sit in one of his meetings!!

Old Covenant Baptism vs. New Covenant Baptism (water vs. Spirit)
Water baptism was a part of the Old Covenant system of ritual washing. The Old Covenant priests had to wash before beginning their service in the temple. (Ex. 30:17-30) When Christ was water baptized by His cousin John in the Jordan River, He was under the Old Covenant system. He also only ate certain foods, and wore certain clothes, as prescribed by the 613 Old Covenant laws. Christ was water baptized by John and then the Holy Spirit came from heaven. (Acts 10:38) The order is reversed in the New Covenant. A person receives the Holy Spirit upon conversion, and then believers often declare their conversion to their friends and family through a water baptism ceremony. Which baptism makes you a member of Christ’s Church?
The New Covenant conversion process is described below. (Born-again)
Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
(A person must “hear” the Gospel, and “believe” the Gospel, and will then be “sealed” with the Holy Spirit.)
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(See Jer. 31:34 for the New Covenant promise, and 1 John 2:27 for the fulfillment)

Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says?
What did Peter say below?
Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water/ every time they read the word "baptize" in the text.
Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage?
Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (See 1 Cor. 12:13)

Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Water or Holy Spirit?, See Eph. 1-13.)

im not sure I grasped if this was clarified, but can someone please tell me: Baptism is vital as an act of obedience to the Lord, but is it what saves you? When you believe in God and accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour and repent of your sins, isn’t it there that you are saved and then to complete the new life you get baptized?
Some say even if you have done all that and have not been baptized yet you are not saved. Which one is it?

The holyspirit comes in and stays with you. You get water baptism that as a public act ( allthough it doesnt have to be in the public) to fullfill all righteousness. In that moment your old man or woman dies and goes into the watery grave. You get cleansed. If you get hands layed on you at this point and pray for a fresh filling of the holyspirit. John the Baptist was that last of the Old Testament line of prophets. Back to baptizing in the name of. When churches baptize in the Name of the Father, Son and Spirit, they have Matt. 28:19 pleading for them in doing it this way.
Churches that baptize in the name of Jesus (only) have so too (from the book of Acts, as you've rightly pointed out).
What matters in the end is that people are being baptized in the name of the Living God. Either baptismal formulas do this.
Therefore, we shouldn't be too firm in proclaiming either of them as 'the right and only way.' Again, because both formulas have solid Scriptural basis.

John the baptist mentioned 3 kind of baptism. Baptism of Water, Holy Spirit and Fire. The last two are given by Jesus.
During Jesus ministry, he never gives water baptism, His disciples did, this precisely align with John the baptist statement.
The purpose of Water baptism is for repentance, to be spiritually born again, to enter Jesus's spiritual Kingdom on earth. Holy Spirit baptism is to guide Christians to the truth, to remind Jesus teaching. Fire Baptism is to equipt worker of Kingdom to preach and teach the gospel of the Kingdom.
Did Jesus give Fire Baptism to His first disciples ? yes, he did, on pentacostal day. It is not Holy Spirit baptism, because HS baptism was given few days before He lifted up to heaven. Jesus blew to them and said "Receive Holy Spirit". They understood the scriptures is the sign of HS baptism. In Luke gospel, he missed this event, he only mentioned that Jesus made them understand the scripture. Therefore he assumed on pentacost day, is the day the disciples received Holy Spirit.
As Jesus said Holy Spirit only can be felt, not be seen, nobody knows where He comes and goes. In contrast the fires that rest upon the disciples are visible to public. The sign of Fire Baptism, the disciples were equiped with foreign languages, this open opportunity to preach the gospel to the gentiles.

As great as John was (in human form) the least of the celestial beings in heaven are greater. They were even greater for a while than Jesus.
This is not referring to John being the least in heaven compared to born again Christians. He had the Holy Spirit. He will be far greater than any born again Christian or martyr.
This is Jesus saying how much greater heavenly beings are than humans. He was saying that even though John was the greatest man born of woman on earth, he is still lesser than the lowest angel in heaven, being a human. That's it.
John was filled with the Gift of the Holy Ghost at the time of conception like Jesus was. When John died, and was no longer human, he would be greater than any angel.

This is a false gospel to the core. Derek Prince taught a false gospel of works-salvation, because he says you must do water immersion (a work) to be saved. It is fundamentally opposed to God's word. Acts 2:38 says;Repent and be baptised everyone of you in the NAME of JESUS Christ FOR THE REMISSION OF YOUR SINS and ye shall receive the gift of the HOLY GHOST...he didn't say repent and be baptised in water...that's a misquote of the scripture...
The mystery of Baptism is that when the Lord created the Earth, His presence, which is a living fire, heated up the water. The water evaporated as clouds, while the majority of the water remained on the Earth. The Lord then took the clouds and created the Kingdoms of Heaven. This is the Rapture. Those baptized in water and burn for Him, will be raptured by His fiery presence. But those baptized but live lukewarm will stay on Earth.

Water baptism happens because someone has been saved. Water baptism doesn't save.

This is a false gospel to the core. Derek Prince taught a false gospel of works-salvation, because he says you must do water immersion (a work) to be saved. It is fundamentally opposed to God's word.
Salvation is a free gift from God, and it's received through faith/belief in Jesus, not works.
@@Rileyed I was baptized when I believed in Jesus. Baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs when we are born again in the spiritual body of Jesus. Same as any other believer.
But what Prince is saying is water baptism is necessary for salvation, and this is works-salvation, and a false gospel.
