This is where the fun begins.
It's the most wonderful time of the year....
Amazing how "This is Madness!" comes about the same time as this sports thing that happens in March, isn't it? :)
@@IONRadio wait...what is this "sports" you speak of.... ;)
Frikkin' fantastic line up! Many thanks to ION and all the contributors.
This was a tough set to put together from all of the fleets we received. We're hoping for some good battles this year.
always ready for this time of year. good luck to those who made it into the bracket.
Glad to see the factions represented. And just because of the novelty, I'm interested to see how that Konstantine list does!
And the speculation and comments on our side have to be more guarded as we know what happens. What we will say is that all of these fleets were amazing to get on the table.
On the Dodonna fleet wouldn’t the auxiliary shields team be useless since the side shields already have a maximum of four or am I missing something?
No, you are right. Auxiliary Shields Team does limit you to 4...
Still running with the Anakin Skywaaalker joke.
So... you had me go back and make sure I didn't actually put the wrong card up. LOL.

The #2 position list looks interesting. I'm repainting a venator in Imperial colors, and I like the loadout.
The Sloane list? Definitely can be a brutal fleet taking tokens from ships. All of these fleets we feel have some good opportunities for victory. Match-ups will probably dictate most of the games though.

YEEEEEAAAAAAAH
Why is the limit 300 when it's more comfortable to play with 400 (my opinion, you really can't have a good fleet with enough fighters with only 300 points)
We have intentionally limited this series to 300 points for 3 reasons:
1) We can play these out much faster than normal 400 point games.
2) Games are played out on a 3x3 area and in general 400 point fleets tend to need the full 3x6 play area to realize their potential.
3) We feel that at 300 points fleets can generally be good at something, but not optimized. This has shown some really creative thinking by players in their fleet designs.
