During U.S. Army Sniper School, we had KIMS (Keep in Memory System) drills. The Instructors would show us several small objects; Cell Phone, Radio Battery, Stapler, etc... we had 30 seconds or so to study each item, remembering as much detail as we could. We were NOT allowed to write anything down, nor to talk to fellow students about the items... Then usually several hours later, while were we performing some other task (everything from a Ruck March, to dancing around in a circle hooping and hollering like Indians as the instructors screamed at us) we had to write down as much detail as we remembered about each item. Like all tasks in Sniper School, this was graded (the KIMS task, along with Target Detection and Range Estimation) were combined as a single Grade, and if you Failed, you were booted from the school. Other Failures that could end your career as a Sniper were Shooting Skills, Stalking Skills, and your performance as part of a team during the Final Field Exercise. The purpose of the KIMS drills were so that Snipers could quickly absorb key battlefield information (even under fire) and then at a later time (under stress) be able to relay those key details to their Unit Command. A key skill, given that Snipers primary duty is as a Scout to gather Intelligence. BTW: the only thing I got wrong on this test, I missed R2D2. SSG. The flag was a trick question because the picture was in a distance and one could not read the lettering on the flag. Especially, if youre not military and do not visually know what a particular armed forces flags look like. Not good there DOD.
That was fun. I got all 5. I immediately looked at things that might be questions. That helped to answer the test at the end. Pretty cool this video is.
College honor student here, and I only got *ONE* correct! 🎉🤣 So, it seems I did worse than everyone else commenting here! LOL! 🤪 I thought there were four divers! It looked like there was one under the water... I completely missed R2!!! 😭 And I love Star Wars!!!! 🤣 I watched again-I can barely tell that’s R2 over there unless I turn the brightness way up. The dry/wet platform-I didn’t even notice! I got the black shirt right, LOL!! I knew there was a flag to the right of the US 🇺🇸 one-I just didn’t know which! This was fun!! I love stuff like this-umm, even if I do poorly! 🤪 BTW, to all of you serving, thank you very, very much for the sacrifice you’re making for our country. 🇺🇸 Also, for those of faith, I want to make sure you know that Psalm 91 is the soldier’s psalm. It’s full of amazing promises of God’s protection-and speaking of memory, it’s a GREAT Psalm to memorize. God bless! 🙏🏻❤️
The problem is is if I witness a crime, I’m gonna be asked what did they look like what were they wearing. Not was this object to the left or right of this object. I was able to answer how many divers and what color the guys shirt was. There were also 4 people standing in the background which was never asked.

Technically I got them all correct, but 3 questions were incorrect by way of how they were worded. The platform can’t show moisture from this resolution/distance, so one should infer it is entering the water, as the man is pushing it toward the water, not pulling it. Also, the mans shirt is navy blue, not black. Thirdly, there is no Air Force flag. Thus, I got them all correct.
