Can you compost coffee grounds and filters? You bet! It’s one of our favorite materials to put in our worm bins, compost piles and garden.

Can I use charcoal ash after grilling for compost?

We wouldn't recommend adding ash to compost piles, it can cause issues with the pH of the pile - but you could try applying the ash around your yard (check out this link from Charbroil) www.charbroil.com/how-tos/how-to-dispose-and-recyle-charcoal#:~:text=Fertilize,want%20to%20use%20it%20sparingly.
