I have same problem on my 2018 model bs4 classic 500 stealth black and I claimed extended warranty and they replaced me a new fuel tank and some other problem creeps in air pressure on tank 😳 if i open the tank cap it opens with pressurised air like a bang sound 😳 so i drilled a hole through the tank cap and it's all fine now ☺️ and hey after that your fuel pump and fuel injector gonna give you problem and the engine malfunction light gonna continuously on 🤦🏻 Royal enfield authorised service centre not gonna give you solution they will tell you to replace the whole efi and fuel pump system that gonna cost you around 32000 rupees 😳 so what I did ? replaced efi to carburettor with the help of local royal enfield mechanic ( well experienced one ) ☺️ it will cost you around 15000 rupees ! now my bike have a smooth engine with smooth riding without and vibrations and with smooth thump sound ☺️ ♥️

That pipe is E-VAP pipe which is used to control evaporation emission control which is connected to Charcoal canister..
So is that any problem when we close that pipe

Fuel pump is also very weak sir, my classic 500 fuel pump got cracked. Put some m seal in advance and protect it.

There is a pipe which connect to canister from the tank. which is missing in your bike. Don’t over fill the tank in BS4 model and get new pipe tank is good in ur bike

I have the same problem with my 2019 BS4 model, initial stage it was leaking from the tank and they did some patchwork below the tank now the leakage problem is solved later air is getting tight in the tank and started missing as well during running for this they have changed the key socket and the air problem is solved but the tank is vibrating while accelerating and they suggested to change the tank 😐. Problems are coming one after one.

I am having classic 500 2010, EFI model, I have faced lot of problems while having fuel injection system, once i changed to carburator system not even single problem came, so i think the problem is in the royal enfield fuel injction system very poorly designed without considering lot of factors

Bro try to close petrol tank with cover. Becaz if water gets inside no way to go out so again it will spoil your tank. Already happened for me and i changes new tank in last October 2020.

Bro even 2 years completed we can change tank by using fitful warranty ask showroom. If you done all services in showroom we can claim fitful warranty I too have same problem but I changed through warranty like fitful
I asked the same bro, but I started giving in RE franchise service center. They are not directly associated with any showroom. Due to which I am not eligible for this option they said.

Hi bro, for me also RE asked to pay 10k for changing the tank. Thankfully one mechanic removed a pipe which is connecting from Tank cap side to bottom of the petrol tank which will be inside. After removing he has closed the hole on the bootom which he removed and made one small drill on my tank cap to release air from petrol tank. Now my bike is not giving those issues. It’s been almost 2 years now

I visited Showroom many times, before 2-years .,
But that time they suggested to fill 50% fuel.,
Now its 2-years crossed , now they are telling to change tank.
Costing 11k ., Yes after 12,000km I started facing issue
11k is too much, instead you can do this thing which will cost you less than 500rs
