Someone just texted me to say that he had died. I meant to click the "!!" icon on my phone, but I accidentally clicked the "Ha Ha!" icon instead. I think Mr. Lewis might have loved that. Rest in peace, Mr. Lewis! Thank you for the laughs. Condolences to his family.
I vividly remember this! This was when VH1 was on during the day then in the evening it was "Comedy Central" on the same channel. This was when we had about 45 channels. I also loved him and Jamie Lee Curtis on "Anything but Love" R.I.P. Richard Lewis
He was unique !!! He would make you forget he was a comedian. he always sounded like your best buddy telling you hilarious stuff about what happened to him last week end. See you in Heaven Buddy !!!
Richard's theatrical comedy was original (his lines, and delivery). "...Richard’s hard-earned sobriety, and perspective-on-life, would serve anyone who was lucky enough to benefit from his deep-insight into what it is to be human..." ~ Beverly D'Angelo (IG) Handsome guy, too. 🕯 .

Richard was an icon comedian. R.I.P. Richard Lewis
Loved his self-deprecating style of comedy. RIP Mr. Richard Lewis.

His delivery will never be duplicated.
Rest in Peace Richard 🕊️ loved your work
I loved the A List. Richard and Sandra were great hosts. He also had a sitcom on Fox with Don Rickles as his dad.
"oh no!! There's a pronoun in the basement" LMAO
One of my favorite lines too
This is how I will always remember him, touching his head
Not since Rodney Dangerfield has someone been able to do amazing self deprecation comedy. You were a gem Mr Lewis.

I loved Richard, but man if you took a shot of vodka everything time he touched his head. You would be drunk in 30 secs.
😂
One of the... most overrated.
This is some low-bar "comedy". Comedy legend? Maybe for people who hate comedy.
😒
You know nothing of comedy
