I never miss a video of clear the cart! I love these videos, I was excited to see if you read them or not. Also, it was so inspiring to see that you made a goal, a hard one to clear the cart of 60 books!!, and achieved it!!!! I want to do it now. Congrats!❤
I also read The Dead Romantics soon after losing my grandmother, and it hit so so hard. A beautiful book, I'm glad it helped you process such a difficult time, because I'm right there with you
Loved this, Jess! I have been around since social speechie on yt and insta and am a hustle sanely gal and regular podcast girlie and your book videos are an extra treat! Also in a season of grief- thanks for those recs
I love your favorites of each month. You are definitely are a romance girly and I'm here for it! So excited to see what you're reading in 2025. I have added several of your top 12 to my TBR (I've read many of them already). Happy New Year! And thank you for sharing your love of reading with us.
Oooo yes I bet it is a good audiobook...I wanna hear Marcellus, lol! I really didn't expect to love that one as much as I did - a pleasant surprise for sure!
Good to hear on The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros I have been wanting to read another book by her besides The Fourth Wing series. Happy reading and looking forward to the new year with new books and a clean slate!
Maybe I should read The Dead Romantics. I just lost my dad in early December and books have been a good distraction as well as booktube. Thanks for your positive energy in your videos! Congrats on clearing the cart!
I LOVED IT! I have the next 2 in the series on my TBR cart ready to go - I think I loved it so much because I didn't really have high expectations going into it. The story really sucked me in - I listened to it and read it physically (bounced back and forth) and didn't find myself bored at all. I'm very intrigued to see how the story continues 👀
Do you think you will continue with the Crescent City series? Curious because it seems like you were getting a bit fatigued from the SJM chunkers lol. I have only read the ACOTAR series. It was a lot of fun. I think I am going to give TOG a try this year. I like hearing more balanced opinions about SJMs book lol Congratulations on reaching your goal. I have a physical TBR just over 100 😅. After Onyx Storm comes out, I am going on a self imposed book buying ban for this year. I want to read and appreciate what I own and become more mindful of future purchases (like you said!). Oh one more question: I liked Icebreaker for what it was, but I wasn't going to continue with the series. Can you read Daydream without reading Wildfire?
hi, hi! mmmm I don't think I'll continue CC this year BUT maybe in the future, lol - I need a break from SJM chunkers 😂 Oh and you can totally read Daydream without reading Wildfire in my opinion. I didn't like Wildfire at all 😅
I did! It's not really my style of book but my husband really likes it so that's why it was on my TBR cart - he wanted me to read it 😂 I've seen the movie before so I was able to easily follow along and know what was going on. It was a fun adventure but just not one of my go-to genres!
I had a decent time reading it! I enjoyed parts of the story (I really loved Six-Thirty, lol) but something about the overall tone of the book didn't sit well with me so I had a hard time with it because of that. It read cynical and almost haughty feeling to me? I just didn't vibe with it! But I am interested in watching the show though!
Congrats on clearing your cart! You have inspired me to get through my TBR this year.
Thank you! 🫶 You can do it - it feels SO GOOD at the end, lol

I am here for it. I was wanting to hear about a specific read, and looks like it was your favorite December read. ❤

I would like to know if you enjoyed "The Hobbit".

Lessons in Chemistry will live forever as a 5 star read for me, so sad with your rating. Would love to hear why it got a 3.25
