Make sure to put the gas cap back on after relieving the pressure!! Gas will just keep pouring out of the lines if you don’t! Had a huge gas spill today while working because I didn’t do this step.
You can prime it to avoid that dry start.
I just replaced my fuel filter and one thing folks should know about are the phillips headed bolts that hold the shrouding in place. If it's an older car and/or one exposed to salt air, those bolts will be pretty badly rusted and when you try to unscrew them you'll find they don't back out because the threads are no longer functioning so the metal bolt just spins in place and doesn't release. If both the bolt and the body clip were made out of metal, it would be a small thing to just drill them out and replace with new. If they were both made out of plastic, you could take a hot knife and just cut the offending bolt out of the way, but with the bolt made of metal and the body clip plastic, about the only thing you can do is get a body clip remover at the car parts store along with a couple of sharp bladed screw drivers and just pry them off. Those things made an hour long job about three times longer then necessary. Also, you don't really have to remove the one shroud bolt that's located at the very top of the shroud. It'll all just push out of the way and that bolt would be impossible to get at.

I’ve had some trouble lately I bought my Miata(1997) with no engine and put it back together and there is a missing part right next to the antifreeze reservoir and I though it was a fuel filter but by looking at this video it looks like I’m wrong

Should be able to get them from any major auto parts supplier. I believe I had gotten this one from mossmiata though.
