@@albertalexander7736 You tell me. I can sing "don't worry" for example but only quiet. I was told that if I have a cold, sometimes older phones don't pick up as well what I am saying. I am pretty much almost unable to sing.

When my sister and i were very young my mom would sing to us before bed just like this. She passed away last year and i would give anything to relive one of those nights of her singing to us. I listen to this and bawled my eyes out. It was as close as it gets. Thank you.

When your body reacts to something with vast emotion, be it negative or positive (happy, sad, excited, surprised etc) if there is an imbalance of hormones and chemicals your instinct reaction is to cry.

The way she sings brings a nostalgic mood. I've always gotten sad whenever I get nostalgia. It makes me feel like I could've done way more and I start invisioning scenarios where I did things differently.
Makes you think about how little time we've got to make our lives matter to us. And usually, in the end of a hit like this, I feel worthy of living. Because had I done things differently I wouldn't be the me I have now.
In the end, life is for living. We have to make the best of it and care for each other.

How can someone sing like that. I really got the voice of a dying chicken. Life is unfair
Sing from the diaphragm/chest my friend. For vowels use the sound AH (A) EH (E) EE(i) OH (O) OO(U).
A technique my teacher taught me was take 2-3 fingers and press them on your cheeks to keep your mouth open. Remember to sing through your chest :) if you put your hand on your chest you should be able to feel it vibrate. If not you might be singing from the nose (if you don’t know touch your nose)

Dude, I have a challenge for you. Go on like a 15 minute run, but a genuine run that gets your blood pumping, then when you get back home, try singing. Normally my song voice is poop but every day while I’m exercising I sing like I’m somebody else, I think it might have something to do with opening up my veins and getting blood pumping to my whole body
Asmr singing is honestly really calming so glad I went into an asmr loop hole and started discovering more about it. Now that I have, less stresses bother me now.
Honestly when I used to hear asmartists singing I would just get irritated for some reason but I swear to god Lauren’s voice is actually like an angel’s and it’s so soothing to listen to

I remember the first time I watched this and you started singing "Somewhere Only we Know" by Keane and I couldn't help but cry.
It's a song that gets me emotionally messed up, I heard it around a time I lost a childhood pet back in the 2010s, then another time when my uncle passed away in 2021. Both events were very dark days and I always turn to that song when it's all heavy on my head. It usually takes me a lot to come back to this video you uploaded just so I can hear you sing it, it's starting to become a song of comfort rather than a song I would use to cope with my grief.
While searching for this I was afraid I was gonna find a young girl who is out of whispering into a mic on an attempted pitch. BUT THIS WAS LITERALLY AMAZING! From a classical musician I respect you ma'am.
