CORRECTION: lost my mind when talking about groups being Best of 1s. They should be all Best of 3s. If a team wins 2-0 they get 4 points, 2-1 for 3 points. If a team loses 1-2 they get 1 point, no points for 0-2. (I cut that part from the video)
Group B, Group D, Group A, Group C. other than BDS, no other team in that group has done anything impressive lately. Group A has a major champ, the best APAC team, a stacked m80, and a new look g2
Falcons made a solid run into top 8 in Montreal. DarkZero was clearly a top 2 team in NAL last stage even if they didn't translate that performance to the major. Unwanted does have a major-winning core, but they failed to qual for EWC and Montreal, not to mention they just lost probably their 2 best players. Ex-Bleed may have been the best APAC team not long ago, but it's not clear if that's still true. G2 just got crushed in Montreal. I think it's B > D > C right now and I'm not sure exactly where A fits in.
@@highgroundr6 I actually love A I think all the groups there are hugely momentum based. whichever of them wins the group will certainly be 2x better than they otherwise would be since they're all such inconsistent teams
@@highgroundr6 I think there's just no competition in C. Like DZ is great but nowhere close BDS but still above the rest. In A all teams have a chance to win the group (maybe not JOEL)
the Razah Company roster is the same E1 Sports roster from Stage 2. they had a great start to stage 2, leading the Brazil League, but fell short towards the end. surely a team to look out for, high potential
Nice to see you back but I think group A gonna be the one to watch, second to group B. I feel like C and D just are gonna have clear favourites. Also just you wait for when Furia get grouped we will be cagging indeed!
I still think B is the strongest, but A could be the most competitive across all 5 teams and has the most teams that I could see being either good or bad. So in that way you could consider A the one to watch.
Since whoever I choose to root for in any competitive endeavor always loses really fast, I'm going to choose to root for BDS, FaZe, and w7m. Maybe I can reverse jinx someone here.
Group B has: CAG \_ツ_/ Reigning World Champs (FURIA) Debatably the best NA team lead by the greatest player of all time (Rebellion) The best region's best team (FaZe) The team that can only lose to BDS and ITB (Secret). Seriously they've lost 13 times since the beginning of stage one and 8 of them have been to those two teams and BDS eliminated them in both Majors.
I think DarkZero is going to come back and surprise a lot of people. Historically successful team with a new-look which should help since most of the video on them will be out-of-date by now. Plus their main issue in Montreal was Kobe and Beaulo not being able to frag out. It was Kobe's first event and do we really think that Beaulo is going to stay mid?
@highgroundr6 I'm traveling from Ireland to Boston to watch it live but your content is amazing for the Round Robin - your analysis are great too! Thanks for all the effort bro
I used to watch a lot of pro league but haven't watched in a couple years. Still subscribed and its interesting to hear about who is on which teams now. If you could suggest just one match from the last year or two for an old fan to watch, which would you pick?
I don’t think there’s any grudges between M80 and Unwanted as you said, the situation was unfavourable all around. Essentially M80 acquired the entire Beastcoast organization and right before roster locks M80 essentially told Gunnar and Dfuzr “you can either join M80 and have a job, or you be released from your contracts”. It was either swap teams or be jobless for who knows how long. It’s hard to blame any of the players put in that position.
Shopify: Soniqs dropped their team so the team joined Shopify Rebellion Team Joel: Bleed wasn't paying players so the team left Unwanted: M80 absorbed beastcoast but only added Gunnar and Dfuzr to their roster so the remaining beastcoast players picked up 2 new players and a coach and are now playing under this name
Bleed will be the only APAC team to make it out of groups. BC is unfortunately not gonna be able to do anything without their two best players since they couldn’t even qualify to Montreal with them. Hope they surprise me though and make a deep run.
your content is so good and i so hard to find, competitive siege is not talked about enough after all the jynxi era ( no hate ), and pls make a roster changes for all the invitational teams, great video btw
@@highgroundr6 $100 for all three days of mainstage or $80 for one day. The one day is a scam but I think $100 for all three days isn't that bad considering how gosh darn expensive Boston is.
Yeah I'll do a video for that at some point. I'm planning to record some videos tonight, but I'm not sure if I'll release those before or after that one
I really think Group D is the most sweaty group out of all mainly bc Scazy is the best Apac, Space station is the best NA and W7M and VP are both in the top 3 best team within their respective regions. Oxg is the only one that's the weakest. But everyone one else are very very strong compare to the rest of the groups where they only have 2 to 3 very strong team and the rest is either weak or just normal. Group C to me by far is the weakest group, I really think BDS got a free win from being in there 😂bc you literally have 2 tier 2 teams within the same group and the other 2 are just normal teams, they aren't really that strong. I really think BDS got the best and free group to be in. I am going to say, BDS is going to top their group without a doubt. And the only team that actually stands a chance against BDS is actually The Apac team, PSG and that's bc they beat BDS already. So I feel like they could do it again.
@highgroundr6 some ya but right now they are, they both have the most wins within their respective regions when it comes to the regular season if I'm not mistaken and if not they are definitely in the top 3 for sure.plus Scarz have been in the top 3 Apac team ever since they pretty much became a team. They also took DPlus spot after they made roaster change and they also took cats spot after they made a roaster change. So right now Scarz are the best Apac team. They also have more wins under their belt within the regular seasons and they been to more main international events recently than any other Apac team. Not saying overall but saying recently.
Spacestation is the best NA? Bold claim. I think that Rebellion gets that because they won the NAL. Yeah SSG beat both of them in Montreal but both teams were struggling HARD in that event.
How? They had top their na region and they have won more in the regular season than SQ. Right now they are the best NA not saying of all time but right now.@@noriskgaming8312
