This is definitely the worst and most awful scene ever, out of the entire show. Violent, villain, immoral while abusing of her power (for private reasons, by the way...), and nothing else: this is not Tani, this is writers' moment of madness.
Big Haole You sound ridiculous. Steve does the same thing and y’all praise him. Tani does it and the response is different. Not only that Tani did this for her brother, family. Why criticize? Because she’s not Kono? Foh.
Ok, first of all thanks for the “ridiculous” thing: it’s good to know that you’re willing to respect someone else's opinion… Second, I like Kono but I never missed her, since Tani is such a great character too. I love Tani and I like the actress who portrays her; I just don’t like this scene, I think it’s a bad written scene which doesn’t addes up with the character or the storyline of the episode. It’d be just about showing how badass Tani could be, but it turns out to be a distasteful and groundless scene of violence (for private reasons) and power-abusing. One more thing: nine years of Five-0, and I sincerely don’t recall a scene with Steve (or Danny etc.) having such a behaviour as Tani in this one, but if there is I’d say that it’s a bad and distasteful scene any way.
Tani is so badass when she stepped on the guy’s foot with her boot and cracked it.

Meh.
You're difficult to impress XD
@@Chino56751 In all honesty Kono was far better at balancing the badass persona without looking like a psycho.
