    Excelente, esto es un trabajo profesional. El mejor de los videos para la elaboración de un inductor de manera manual. Gracias por compartir la informacion. Saludos desde México.

    That's sure fine metal-work. For an optimized induction-coil, the size of the hole, the wideness and the highness of the windings should be about the same, to minimize the length of the copper-wire and with it the resistant of the inductor-coil. So you'd need for every value of the inductor a different sized metal-thingy. And yes, this is a smart-ass speaking.

    • @homemade_audio
      @homemade_audio  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      optimization is profitable in the case of large quantity production, but to manufacture a coil that I need with a few centimeters more it does not cause me a problem, the important thing is to manufacture it.
      With these machined parts I can manufacture any coil for my speakers and it does not matter to optimize either the length of the cable and resistance.
      In any case this video is intended for amateurs not professionals.

      @@homemade_audio Just watched the video again. My target would be to make coils with as low resistance as possible, so I'll have to make different sizes for the tools Your video is very instructive and it helps me a lot. You really show everything to make the task more easy. Thanks a lot. I just have to figure out how to make your metal pieces out of plywood, which should not be witchcraft. In my opinion the resistance matters, specially if you want to make speakers with higher sensitivity. But we not need to agree on everything.

    How to decide the amps? for example i need an inductor for 10amp capacity, what should i do?

    • @homemade_audio
      @homemade_audio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, the current supported by a coil depends on the section of the wire used, you'll find several tables on the Internet which show the current supported by wires.

    • @stevengouws8684
      @stevengouws8684 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    hi friend. what is the function of putting the varnish?

    • @homemade_audio
      @homemade_audio  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's a special varnish for coil making, the function is that like a glue and it supports heating.
      More than it stops wire's vibration and makes more space between wires.

  • @adnacraigo6590

    If you will cut the ends of the plastic ties flush with toenail clippers they won't be sharp and will not cut you .

    • @nelsondog100

      Or, instead of cutting, grab the zip-tie very closely to the end while rotating the pliers in a circular motion. The result is a clean break and no sharp edge.

    I have a question, typically, each layer should be wound in the same direction. This means if you start winding the first layer from left to right, you should also wind the second layer (and any subsequent layers) from left to right. But from your video 1. from left to right, then right to left. which is right?

    • @homemade_audio
      @homemade_audio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Like any other coil :
      If First layer .... left to right
      Second layer....right to left
      Third layer....left to right
      .
      .
      .
