Lovitz is a great comic actor. The character was very inconsistent, which he complained about and the writers didn't care about. Then again Root was stuck with that from about Season 1 Episode 5.
If you love this show, you have to watch this season. Warburton was funny, Lovitz was funny, Root was funny, Dick was funny, Foley was funny, Tierney was funny, Rogan was funny, Lewis was funny. That's a good show.

warburton is a bore, lovits is only ever funny by accident which is rare. The rest of the crew are stellar.
When Phil Hartman died, most of the funny with this show went with him.

I believe Ozzy's given name IS John, but as far as I'm aware, Osbourne has always been his surname.
Johnny Johnson should have been Bill McNeals replacement. He has the exact same qualities as Bill McNeal.
Yes so glad somebody else thinks that same way, he fits right in with the cast and accepts their quirky qualities
