It’s really funny watching you and other southerners (I’m in northern Alberta Canada) play in the winter. We have no choice but to play in the snow for almost 5months out of the year! I was playing in -30C the other week because… couldn’t let my uDisc Streak of 57 weeks expire!!
My #1 rule for playing disc golf in the snow and/or cold is to not play disc golf in the snow and/or cold. I follow this rule very very religiously, ive never broken it.
Yeah, I live in MN, and I take the winter off. I've tried playing in the snow a long time ago, and trudging through the snow and losing discs off every tee just isn't fun for me. Not to mention icy tee pads and no feeling in my throwing hand.
as a buffalonian, i agree wholeheartedly on the snow, but not so much the cold. if there’s no snow but it’s cold enough for the ground to be frozen, that’s actually pretty good conditions imo.
I just played a round after work at the Delano course. Tee pads were pretty slick. Oh, and I lost a disc on hole 10. A Glow Grym. Kinda bummed, I really liked that disc.
@@jcjcjones33 I lost it during a glow round after I lit it up. I went back a few days later and found it during day light. It was under a bit of snow which is why I didn’t see it glowing and I got lucky enough to have stepped on it to find it.
It's funny cus i just watched the Grit Challenge earlier today. Great to see you guys play in the snow. Challenge Idea: whoever is losing gets a coat and gloves. whoever is winning is in t-shirt.
Great video! Love the white disc idea. We filmed a winter/snow round and we spent sooooooo much time looking for discs and they were brightly colored. Can't imagine looking for white ones.
Weather golf is great! Not for scoring so much, but good for skill set. Keeping hands warm is key! They get slow when they cool. Spike hyzer is a cheat code, they usually get to ground and bounce back on top of the snow. Ice Bowl season y’all!
I can not get myself to play in the snow. I absolutely HATE the winter time and out of our crew I am the one that says, "No thanks" when it comes to playing in it. I am so ready for spring!!
Played a tourney this weekend. 35 degrees 20 mph winds. My OS approach disc went straight into the frozen creek. I wasn't about to leave it so my hand went right into the ice looking for it.
Every disc is more over stable in the winter. Especially when it's cold. Don't get frostbite in your hands! It will affect the nerves later on in life. Coming from 🇨🇦 played disc golf for 10 years. 😉
My buddy and I played a glow round the other night here in Iowa. First day the temperature wasn’t in the negative. We have at least a foot of snow. Rule #1 is glow your disc before every hole and even then some spots were so deep you couldn’t see the glow 😂
This is hilarious :D I live in Oulu Finland, so we have like 2 feet+ of snow this winter and I still go and play disc golf at my local course atleast twice a week. I have become a demigod of finding discs from the snow (colour doesn't matter too much). I have lost only 1 disc this winter and it was a disc that I have a backup for it. Usually I lose max 1 disc per winter. I have played 2,5years so soon it will be my third winter done. Usually the snow starts to melt around april. Sometimes we have snow even at the end of may.
footprints in the snow expand as the snow melts/evaporates around them. so probably that person had a very normal shoe size and the prints just expanded by the time y’all got there.
Up here in Canada, we tape gift ribbons on our discs to help find them in the snow. We also live in a god forsaken commie sh*thole, so be thankful all you have to worry about is a lost disc.

i need a slow mo replay of Hunter jumping on hole 3 when he hit the little tree 2 feet in front of him lol.
8:45 we the people appreciate the lengths you go to for our entertainment 😂😂
Well Done Young Men!
Great content and charisma. I feel like I’m hanging with you as I watch and that is cool.
My #1 rule for playing disc golf in the snow and/or cold is to not play disc golf in the snow and/or cold. I follow this rule very very religiously, ive never broken it.
Thats a bad rule if your winter is like 4-5 months

Poser
Grow some balls and get out and play disc golf in all conditions
No off days here. I play all year. Love to see some snow disking
6:02 Trevor making yellow snow
Marking the circle for the next people
Minnesotan checking in. I've been waiting for some snow golf! I play year round and love it. Great work guys.
Also here to say this is how Minnesotans live for about half the year
I just played a round after work at the Delano course. Tee pads were pretty slick. Oh, and I lost a disc on hole 10. A Glow Grym. Kinda bummed, I really liked that disc.
@@AlanS_DGC glow grym had to be nasty to find if during the day

Another snow grit challenge is the moment I’ve been waiting for most since the last one

Pretty looking winter! 😊
Winter disc golf is a riot . Need more snow so you need snowshoes. Give that a try .like your videos.
Fun vid! Thanks for enduring hardships for the sake of my entertainment. 😂😎
#1 rule of winter golf is you can’t get mad haha. As we normally play in a lot of snow in SD
Front pouch hoodie is a godsend in the snow.
Glad I'm not too crazy... Playing in single digits/negative single digit wind chill and 8" of accumulation from Michigan!
The daffodils next to my practice basket broke ground last week. I'm gonna stay right here in NorCal and bitch about playing in the low 50s.
During my recovery from surgery I will be living vicariously through the videos I watch so keep the visual stimulation coming 😅
Okay... You call that winter... Cute. 😂
Näyttää meidän juhannuskeleiltä
This was actually super funny! Dudes this was a treat
Love this. So much fun. Thanks for sharing
Shout out to Silas for that “move those chains” respect mah boy
awesome concept! definitely another fun video :D
Good video. Thanks for the content guys.
I can not get myself to play in the snow. I absolutely HATE the winter time and out of our crew I am the one that says, "No thanks" when it comes to playing in it. I am so ready for spring!!
I think you've called a new challenge. Loser does an ice bath!
*laughs in Wisconsinite*
Great showing guys, winter disc golf is no joke!
Played a tourney this weekend. 35 degrees 20 mph winds. My OS approach disc went straight into the frozen creek. I wasn't about to leave it so my hand went right into the ice looking for it.
DX Rhyno + DX Roc is a solid combo. They both beat in great. DX Rhyno is pretty slept on these days.
Every disc is more over stable in the winter. Especially when it's cold. Don't get frostbite in your hands! It will affect the nerves later on in life. Coming from 🇨🇦 played disc golf for 10 years. 😉
I know this round is for laughs, but I feel vindicated by Trevor rocking the rhyno. It’s one of my faves
Been bagging dx rhynos for a while now. I hit an ace with one at Crystal Lake Park in Beaver Dam, WI on 12/17/24. Hole 2 from the longs
Felt like I was just watching you guys throw nothing lol. Trying to track those white discs was a fun job for Silas 😅
Played at timbrook the day it snowed and that jacket was there so its been going strong! 😂
Oh this is going to be epic content I can feel it in my bones!!!
love the vids
Good comment

In Wisconsin, we play in the snow for 2 months
Nice job, George!

Come to anchorage, ak and play. Just played in -15 today and snow is always knee high
I doubt Tattar does a lot of ice baths in Finland 😂
Yes, the water is much warmer in Estonia..
You guys should do another video doing it the right way in the snow.. because I don’t know how to do that…
Dang, you guys in VA have more snow than us in MN this year...
I live in Newfoundland Canada. 50% of the year its "play in the snow....or don't play"
footprints in the snow expand as the snow melts/evaporates around them. so probably that person had a very normal shoe size and the prints just expanded by the time y’all got there.
Playing in Michigan winters suck but no discgolf from October through april is not happening! My passion outweighs my pain!
Carry a light weight snow shovel. Clear pads and search for discs
New challenge! Closest tree hit😂
The first rule of winter golf is clear the pads 😜 so at least they were cleared 😂😂😂
as a canadian i can say even with this amount of snow you gonna be able to found your disc lol
That North Face Beanie Is Fresh 🔥
put the Rhino in the bag Trevor, you're the Rhino whisperer
Bruh, we hold weekly tourneys now, and we have snow that is ankle deep at least
I think there was a disc in the puddle next to Trevor on hole 1 when he was looking for his disc
R-pro rhyno beats into a nice straight disc…forehand or back
Trevor you don’t need a rhino you need a ringer gt, go MJ with it!
I’m all for Rhyno gang Trevor
Another PDGA rule that was broken was leaving the stickers on the discs. lol
I see you were well prepared with outdoor winter clothing :D
7:37 Kristin Tattar goes into ice holes in "Finland"? Why would she travel to Finland for that from Estonia
I hate snow.
Disc golf makes it a little better.
But it still sucks.
Yeah george!!!!!
Should’ve added in another unspoken rule for snow/cold golf and used DX, CT, Electron firm, etc. plastics
Did you guys miss the blue disc in the woods behind the basket after you talked about the "big feet" of the other guy?
Could be a peace of trash
looks like estonian summer what winter .. where:D Try with 50cm of snow.
I don't ever get snow where I'm at. Maybe once every 5 years or so and even then it's only for like 1 day.
The panic of the search is palpable…
Rule #2 is actually never throw more than one off the tee!
Which course is this?
Video 26 of asking Silas for Follow Flights 🤪
Virginia weather be like "And now it's mid 50s and sunny"
When yall doing a loser does a plunge in the water ?
From experience (living in finland) don't play winter golf in -20°C
Only 3.5 seconds for trevor
Great choice on the hat Trevor....smh...lol
Trev just volunteers to do things for no reason
1. Play with the weatherman. 2. Play a game where loser has to polar plunge…completely underwater or it doesnt count.
Let’s goooooooooo
I'll play in the cold if it's dry, but i know I'd wreck my knee or something if i tried playing in the snow
Why would Kristin Tattar take ice baths in Finland when she's from Estona? 🤔 Am I missing something here?
Because she travels? And probably goes to a resort to do those rich activities lol
Next time if a player loses a disc and the other player knows where it is before time is up they should be able to take the disc.
No ribbons! I hope you find your discs! 😬😅
So funny they’re using my rhyno I left at foundation for to long 😂
Me after watching this video: 11:25
I’m from San Diego and if it gets under 60 degrees I stay inside
Don’t throw certain plastics ie: ce
we now know how Hunter got the flu lol🤣
Trevor the Rhyno…
Up here in Canada, we tape gift ribbons on our discs to help find them in the snow. We also live in a god forsaken commie sh*thole, so be thankful all you have to worry about is a lost disc.
Next time wear flip flops
I see you did wear warm clothing...but we don't want you to die, so it's ok.
Wow y'all did hot chocolate dirty
but good for you bcs I don't like it
This concept does not sound fun.
