Great video!! Been looking for a solution for my Fatboy for a while as I know many others have. How did the finished product work out?

Hi and Thanks for watching and commenting. It worked out great. I never even had metal brackets made. I just painted the plastic ones with black paint and you wouldn't know that they are not metal. So if you can find some fairly thick ABS, you can make your own.

@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS Definitely going to look into it. I have enjoyed your Harley videos. Trying to do more myself on the bike rather than taking in for service/repair so they definitely help.

Thanks! I’m fairly mechanically inclined and working on it is not too bad at all. At least all the bolts are US standard and not metric!

I have a 97 Fatty any way you can make a printable template?

Hi George, I can scribe the outline on a sheet of paper with some reference dims so that you make sure it prints the right size. It will be one day next week though as I’m out of town currently.

Hi George...the link to the template is now in the description. Thanks again and let me know if you have any problems with the link!
