Oh my goodness, I love your Printables and cannot tell how much paper I wasted trying to figure out to set it on my printer. Watch your video finally and what do you know, perfection! Thanks so much! Love your inserts and your videos!
@16:00 you mention the crop marks on your printouts. That’s awesome. The shop I ordered from doesn’t have those. Hence how I came across your video to see how to cut them out w/o wasting anymore paper. I’m gng to go to your shop to make a purchase now. Just because this video was so helpful. Thank you. MeRRy Christmas 🎄
This was the most clear and easy to follow video...even a year later! Im new to your channel and shop look forward to learning some more stuff and purchasing your inserts to test in my planners! :D
This was SO SO helpful. This encouraged me to purchase the printable since I don't have an EC or anything yet for 2018, and I'm so excited that I still get to plan with a kit and everything :) This made it so easy and I can't thank you enough for making this video. I'm thinking I'll LOVE the inserts and I can't wait to try out planning in an A5 this year, while still getting to use Etsy kits!!!
I am not very tech savvy and have no clue how to even do printable stickers... Which I would love to learn how to do once I am able to afford the correct supplies. However, I have watched thos video twice and it was a great big help for inserts. Thank you so much
Thank you so much! This video was super helpful! It’s awesome to see this done on an apple computer as well. I’m not as nervous about attempting to print inserts now!
Thank you so much. This is helpful. When I buy the inserts do you know if I can print it from my tablet to this printer? I think I will get the same printer.
I wanted to try printable‘s to use the stickers left over in my kits and something I can take with me quickly... thank you for this video you cleared all my questions. You make such beautiful spreads may be buying a TN in the near future 😉
All printers are not equal - I could not get my inserts to line up properly even after watching this super helpful vid. I sent them to my local office supply store, Staples, and they printed them for a very reasonable price. Now they are 100% perfect! I'm doing this from now on.
I came here just to see if anyone has done that! Did you have to walk them through the process? My printer is only black and white but I want to try the seasonal ones that are more decked out so I want to get them done!
Love this video, so helpful! I tried cutting my printables with a blade and ended up ruining them so I decided on scissors, not perfect straight lines but the guides really really helped!! 💕
You might need to replace the blade?? But if you want to use scissors, I would suggest using a ruler and pencil to connect the crop marks so you can cut along the line :)
I want to start using these inserts in A5 format and so glad you can buy it on Etsy and DIY so in a long run it saves money rather then purchasing ready inserts ( plus you can’t get the ready ones for many different ideas) I am completely new to this, and it might be a dumb question but if I buy printables in A5 format and print them on regular A4 paper that is in my printer will they print as two per page and I just cut it in half so I don’t waste space and paper? Anyway thank you so much for this video , this is what I was looking for!
Yay. This video was perfect. Thanks for the response via Etsy too. I am going to upload a video of how to print on a windows computer this week cause my printer settings were a bit different.
For a minute I got so confused when you switched to the screencast of your computer. Turns out we have the same background. lol! Great video as always!
my preference for inserts is also not binding it . i like it the way it is , it's not laziness for me but i like to be able to take it flat out to put my stickers on it . (:
This is a great video. I printed today with success, and I loved your organization video! My question is not directly related to the printing but what do you do with your outdated inserts? Do you remove them from the planner and reuse the planner and store them? Or do you leave each year or month's worth in the planner and buy new planners? I am just curious. Thank you
I love hearing that - thank you so much! In regards to outdated inserts it depends. I have some with information that I like to keep that I will transfer into a planner that I am not using and store them all there. For daily and weekly inserts, I generally toss or if I'm feeling attached and don't want to, I'll do the same and just pop them into a planner I'm not using. If I ever get to a point where I fill up that one planner, I might get a box! haha.
Are the printables the same layouts as if you were to purchase a PrintPression Weeks (for example) planner except for it being made for a spiral bound planner?
Thank you for this video. I purchased your b6 3 page week. I cannot wait to use them. I have to print them and I'm so worried I'm ping to screw them up!
Great video. Have you thought of assignning someone to print and mail out your inserts? I dont have a computer or printer sadly but want to start using a tn.
Yes. You can absolutely use A4 for any size with the exception of B6 Ring Bound. That size is a bit tight for A4 page. When using A4, ensure you edit you paper size within the print box settings to avoid any misalignment when printing.
Leslie Beers hi! You will trim like any other ring bound insert, but just note that some pages are shorter than the others to create the Dutch door style so if it’s your first time, maybe just trim one page at a time. You’ll trim using the crop marks as your guide along the center and then all four sides of your page. Feel free to reach out to support@jeseniaprintables.com if you need further assistance.
Instead of a bone folder, does a spoon work? Great video by the way! I was really scared to use printables cause I didn’t wanna mess up and this video helped me SO so so much! Thank you!!
Yes for anything except the legal size inserts. Everything else will work ok. Just be sure to deselect “choose paper by pdf page size” and instead manually select A4
I just purchased the exact one you have printing out here and I followed the directions on the downloads and on this video but my boxes don't look as wide as yours, my boxes look slim. Why is that?
Ensure you are using Adobe Acrobat to open and print your files. Also ensure you have “actual size” selected. If you need further assistance, feel free to message me through your order on Etsy.
Jesenia, I do have the two page printing and I clicked on each one flip and rotate and neither one works out right with you setup. I have a call into Epson to see if they can help me.
Hi Cindi, here's a link to a specific how to on the Epson sight for double sided printing with their printers. Hopefully that helps, but feel free to reach out to me on Etsy if you need further help :) epson.com/faq/SPT_C11CD16201~faq-254132
All of my inserts are formatted with crop marks so a true A5 size paper won't work. Also, the weekly shown in this video has a foldout so it's actually larger than an A5 sized paper (once it's folded, it matches the A5 size) :)
Anyone having an issue with the fold marks not lining up!? My fold marks are printed in different places on either side of the page. Not sure if it's my printer or what. Any tips would be much appreciated 😘
Try using a borderless printing option. Sometimes that helps. And make sure "auto portrait/landscape" is selected. The other thing I've personally noticed is if I do higher quality print options, my printer feeds the paper slower and it's less likely to move/shift when it's being fed through. Hope that helps :)
Erin Rein changing this setting did help with the marks being aligned but oddly enough changing the setting changed the size of the boxes themselves. The Boxes were just a tad wider (strange! Could just be my printer though ) What I ended up doing was going back to the original settings. The cut marks only printed in the right side of the paper but I cut the inserts while they were folded and they turned out perfectly !
Great video!. Thanks for the tutorial! Your inserts are beautiful.

Just ordered from your shop for the first time! I'm excited to print and use these inserts!
THANK YOU THANK YOU so much!!! I literally clicked this so fast and I am so beyond happy you posted this. I can’t wait to move into my TN!!

I feel so much more confident in printables now! Thank you!!
Thank you for this video it is a huge help in cutting and such - I purchased several of your printable today and now I can cut them perfectly

Such a great video Jesenia - I have been using your A5 inserts for some time now but got loads of helpful hints and tips from this video!!
If you only have a regular stapler, you can open it up and staple onto an eraser. Then just push the sides down. :)
Haha. What a great planner hack 🙌🏼
I've never heard of a long-arm stapler but I need one!! Haha thanks for sharing!! :)
Thank you so much! This video was super helpful! It’s awesome to see this done on an apple computer as well. I’m not as nervous about attempting to print inserts now!
I just bought some of your printables so, the timing on this was perfect. TFS ☺
Thank you so much. This is helpful. When I buy the inserts do you know if I can
print it from my tablet to this printer? I think I will get the same printer.
Oh that hack of not cutting all the way through... just changed the game for me!
Thank you so much for doing this! I purchased a set from you and for the life of couldn't figure out what I did wrong! Lol thank you!!!☺☺☺
Thank you so much for getting in depth. This was SO HELPFUL!!
Goodness Girl... I just bought the hammer mill paper you linked in the description.... it is so so soft lol
Great video! So excited to purchase some inserts now :)
I wanted to try printable‘s to use the stickers left over in my kits and something I can take with me quickly... thank you for this video you cleared all my questions. You make such beautiful spreads may be buying a TN in the near future 😉

Great and very helpful video! I LOVE your inserts 😍😍😍 keeping my fingers crossed you’ll come out with personal wide rings inserts 🤞🏼
So thankful for this video. I was struggling, haha.
super helpful!! so excited to print now!!!

Thanks for the tute - very helpful.

Fabulous video, thank you
Thank you! So helpful!
Very helpful - Thank You
You are an Angel frpm planner heaven and ily
Thank you sooo much. So helpful!
For a minute I got so confused when you switched to the screencast of your computer. Turns out we have the same background. lol! Great video as always!
Hahaha
Thank you so much for doing this!
Will you be adding A5 Tn inserts? They are hard to find.
my preference for inserts is also not binding it . i like it the way it is , it's not laziness for me but i like to be able to take it flat out to put my stickers on it . (:

You're the best!
What cut order do you suggest for pages that print 2 pages per page (personal wide)? I keep having issues!
So helpful!
Thank you for this! xo
Great video. Have you thought of assignning someone to print and mail out your inserts? I dont have a computer or printer sadly but want to start using a tn.
Not at this time. I do know some customers take to staples or Fedex office and such to have them printed there.
The paper in the uk is a slightly different size to usa. Will A4 (which is our paper) be ok with your printables?
Yes. You can absolutely use A4 for any size with the exception of B6 Ring Bound. That size is a bit tight for A4 page.
When using A4, ensure you edit you paper size within the print box settings to avoid any misalignment when printing.
I am trying the A6ringsdutchbw (dutch door)...could you explain the cutting for it? Thanks.

Great video but how would one print personal planner size
How did you make that font?
Do u make the micro mini size
Yay! Thank you!
Thank you so much
I prefer the prongs on the inside of the inserts so the prongs don't rub against my vellum or vinyl dashboards.
Instead of a bone folder, does a spoon work? Great video by the way! I was really scared to use printables cause I didn’t wanna mess up and this video helped me SO so so much! Thank you!!
Absolutely! Rounded side down 🙌🏼👍🏼
The Planner Sophisticate okay! Thank you
I noticed the paper you recommended rips a lot with removing stickers. Have you found a different paper that doesn’t do that?
You can try 80# text paper. The heavier weight will hold up much better 💕
My paper trimmer doesn't lift like that, I use a pencil and extend the crop marks. I've just started using the A5 inserts and I love them.
That works too. Great suggestion :)
Can i use a4 paper ? we don't have normaly lettersize in europe. thanks
Yes for anything except the legal size inserts. Everything else will work ok. Just be sure to deselect “choose paper by pdf page size” and instead manually select A4
Thank you :D
all done and it doesn't work -.-
Praise!
Do you know if your printables would work on A4 paper without distorting the proportions etc?
As long as your paper size is larger than the document size, you should be totally fine! Just select A4 paper size instead of letter when printing
Thank you! X
I don’t see a standard insert in your shop. Am I wrong?
I don’t carry standard size
Oh ok 😔
I did duplex printing. they print on both sides, but the DO NOT print back to back.. help..lol
Email customer service support@jeseniaprintables.com for assistance 💕
Jesenia, I do have the two page printing and I clicked on each one flip and rotate and neither one works out right with you setup. I have a call into Epson to see if they can help me.
Cindi Atkins I had the same problem. I have an Epson too. I opened the pdf in Adobe reader and print it custom with odd page and then even.
Hi Cindi, here's a link to a specific how to on the Epson sight for double sided printing with their printers. Hopefully that helps, but feel free to reach out to me on Etsy if you need further help :)

How do I print on a true a5?
All of my inserts are formatted with crop marks so a true A5 size paper won't work. Also, the weekly shown in this video has a foldout so it's actually larger than an A5 sized paper (once it's folded, it matches the A5 size) :)
Mine is still not cutting right
Anyone having an issue with the fold marks not lining up!? My fold marks are printed in different places on either side of the page. Not sure if it's my printer or what.
Any tips would be much appreciated 😘
Try using a borderless printing option. Sometimes that helps. And make sure "auto portrait/landscape" is selected. The other thing I've personally noticed is if I do higher quality print options, my printer feeds the paper slower and it's less likely to move/shift when it's being fed through. Hope that helps :)

What I ended up doing was going back to the original settings. The cut marks only printed in the right side of the paper but I cut the inserts while they were folded and they turned out perfectly !
This fixed my issue :) (the auto portait/landscape)
Why don't you have cut marks on your print outs? On some other ones (Filofax freebies) they have cut marks which are really helpful. 😁 💜
All of our printables have crop marks
So helpful. Thank you!
