Govt has excluded indexation and reduced the tax rates. Other existing provisions to invest the proceeds without tax obligations in new real estate and invest in tax exempted bonds are still maintained. So issue is limited to those who desire to sit with cash after sale of the property.

We are all willing to pay taxes as long as it is being utilised properly. Inferior Infrastructures, Cracked roads, Weak bridges, price hikes are not something we are expecting with paying such high taxes everywhere...

The BUTT UGLY part of the budget which should trigger a national uproar and protest is Indexation of property sale. My grandfather’s ₹30,000 house purchase is now ₹4cr is taxed at ₹50,00,000. With indexation it would be ₹6 to ₹7 lakhs. !!!! 800% increase in Tax!!!!.
NO ONE WILL SELL ANCESTRAL PROPERTY until this is revoked

Does speaker except states to set up factories if center is not responsible for setting up factories and job creation ? After GST states become completely dependent on center for money and author feels states are not doing enough by center is doing fabulous job on supporting job creation 😂😂
