    For me the "shock" was in realizing this was written, arranged, and performed by a preteen and 2 middle teens

  • @shuriken4852

    There's no shock, because you have not read the background story on this band before you watched. When they made the LP containing this song, these 3 mexican sisters were only 17(singer/guitarist), 15(drummer) & 12(bassist), they composed and arranged all the songs and were offered several big deals from major labels, but would have had to relinquish the rights to their music, so they flat out refused and self-financed themselves through Patreon/Kickstarter.

      Yeah this is actually pretty awesome! I deliberately try not to read up because in the past it’s spoiled songs for me, so I try to stay away until I’ve heard it! I think the guy that suggested hoped I would react when the guy jumps off the building

    You just met the best Rock band of today! By the time this album was released (2017) the girls were 17, 15, and 12 years old. Their second album "Queen of the Murder Scene" from 2018 is a masterpiece and they are currently working on their third album. Cool reaction! We expect more from The Warning.

  • @krash66

    Thanks for the reaction. Most reactors lose it when the guy jumps from the building... but I guess you are numb to that. LOL. This is the title song from their first album. The whole album is great songs. Keep in Mind these are three sisters that were 17, 15 and 12 years old when this was released. And they are fully independent. Their second album "Queen of the Murder Scene" is a concept album and a full on Masterpiece! Keep reacting to The Warning, and I can almost guarantee you will be a big fan. By the time the oldest sister turned 18 they had already self produced an EP and two full albums of originals in English, their second language, and not one bad song in the bunch. I am a 53 year old fan of rock and metal, and these sisters are the best new band I've heard in decades! Do yourself the favor and keep listening to them.

    Just found out about your channel. Subscribed, The warning and Dream theater are my favorite bands, yes, they are that good at composing. They don't have a bad song, they have over 30 original songs, react to the album queen of the murder scene, you're not gonna say the drummer plays safe anymore, she's a beast in that album and she's the lead singer in many songs she will blow you away and her sisters are the real deal too (:

  • @stormbringer1876
    @stormbringer1876 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    The shock usually comes come from reactors when the body goes over the edge... then they expect a splat, not Wile E Coyote.
    Add to it what Shuriken48 said "When they made the LP containing this song, these 3 Mexican sisters were only 17(singer/guitarist), 15(drummer) & 12(bassist), they composed and arranged all the songs and were offered several big deals from major labels, but would have had to relinquish the rights to their music, so they flat out refused and self-financed themselves through Patreon/Kickstarter."
    So watching people react to that, and given the backstory... might be what is missing from your emotions.

    The mexicans are sooooo talented!!! XXI CB is a great álbum with 13 great songs, and the 2nd álbum QOTMS is a Rock Masterpiece, a conceptual álbum about an obsessed young woman. You will discover pure gold.

    Wow was you completely wrong. These girls were pre-teens and young teens when they wrote this and recorded it. 3 beautiful Ladies and sisters that are much better then any other band and Ladies doing this.I was alive when Rock and Roll was born.Viva The Warning.

    Nice reaction man, I think you're the first to describe Paulina the drummer as safe.. you're not wrong on the sound mix of this music vid she stayed in the pocket most of the time.. but when you watch a live performance, she is a beast and a true talent by any standard, her Sister Ale on bass keeps rock steady tempo for them. The 3 piece rock band is fascinating to watch when done as well as these young ladies.

    I'm a big fan of The Warning and this song has been really growing on me. My favourites have been Survive and Dust to Dust to date. This bands fanbase has grown out of context, their achievements do far are phenomenal considering their young age. As they grow older into young adulthood their music will more and more be gauged on content and I believe they will be very well received when they gain more exposure. I only came across them relatively recently when I was looking for videos of Enter Sandman performed by Metallica as I have recently been listening to a lot more Metallica. Their songwriting talent is incredible and i look forward to their upcoming new album.

  • @americalost5100
    @americalost5100 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Saying this was jaw dropping was really setting this video up to be disappointing. The jaw dropping video of course is the girls cover of Enter Sandman when they were very young (now at 21M views).
    But what's really to be discovered about this group is their incredible song writing skills and charismatic live performances. For whuch I'd personally recommend any of the following perfornances at Lunario CDMX:
    Copper Bullets
    Sinister Smiles
    Dull Knives
    Queen of the Murder Scene
    Psychotic
    Red Hands Never Fade
    Hunter
    The End (for more of Rock ballad type song)

    Try this tune from The Warning. This is from their 2nd album, which is a concept album that traces the descent of a girl from love to obsession to madness and murder. This is Dust to Dust, with the drummer singing lead *while drumming* : th-cam.com/video/yV8gpIrIR9s/w-d-xo.html

    Got to love the members of The Warning Army. We are a fiercely loyal, sometimes (most of the time) fanatical group of fans. We tend to oversell this band to new reactors with what we think is the best song they do.
    I think the WOW factor is in the complete story of who they are and how they came to be. Part of it is the fact they are amazingly young, at the time of this video I believe they were 17, 15 and 12. When they were 14, 12 and 9 they posted a video of a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman that went viral immediately and today has over 20 million views. That and a ton of cover tunes led to them writing original music and now have an EP and two 13 track albums and working on a 3rd to be release later this year or early next. They are unsigned (by choice), fan funded (Patreon and GoFundMe) and are embarking on a North American Tour later this year. Today they are 20, 18 and 15.
    A couple songs for you to check out, the Metallica cover
    th-cam.com/video/1boUYB9LFJY/w-d-xo.html
    And the first track of their second album Queen Of The Murder Scene , a Concept Album)
    Dust To Dust th-cam.com/video/TeIbG8nkOiU/w-d-xo.html
    Thanks for checking them out.

      The other mistake Warning fans make is insisting the Album, Queen of the Murder Scene has to be listened to in order, which, because many of the absolute genius songs are on the second half of the album, leads to a loss of interest and the reactor never hearing the best songs before giving up.

  • @federicoolivares417

    friend listens to his album "Queen of the murder scene" where the girls show their maturity as a band, since they started very young, 15, 11 and 8 years old and the album is a musical gem, they are currently the best rock band of All Latin America, all his followers, especially from North America and Europe, are waiting for the concerts to be reactivated to go to their shows. This band of three rock sisters is very rare to see especially because of their ages and demonstrating their great technique that each they have to play their instruments, we expect more reactions from you, you have been warned!

  • @nukchuu1
    @nukchuu1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Their live videos are so much better! you can really see their love and passion for the music they put out and for their fans! I would not have suggested this as a first video personally. Dust to Dust since it is the first song of their album Queen of the Murder scene and prologue which tell a story through out the following 12 songs. They are completely fan funded through patreon and kickstarter. extremely fan friendly on patreon and instagram, constantly putting out behind the scenes and inviting fans to their warning cave to watch them. They got on Ellen when Ale was 9, Pau was 12, and Dany was 14. for their cover of Metallicas Enter Sandman, which now has been viewed more than 21million times! theyve opened for Def leppard and the Killers 2 times each, done many big festivals also done Whiskey a go-go 5 times where some of the biggest bands ever have played! SINCE youve seen this ID suggest watching the enter sandman cover to see their humble begining. then watch their live stuff.

    You really need to check out their epic rock opera masterpiece Queen of the Murder Scene. It's about longing, regret, unrequited love. It follows a girl into the depths of madness. Start with Dust to Dust and go through the album

    Isn't kinda jaw dropping that band is bringing back the rock music we ( maybe not you) loved in the past. Nightwish is symphonic rock with basically an opera singer. Jinjer is? WTF is Jinjer? Slow it down, strip it down and you have The Warning. In my humble opinion what rock should be. I said my piece.😔

    • @robhaunui3343
      @robhaunui3343 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Amen my friend ! The Warning are just on another level compared to those often lumped in bands with The Warning you mentioned (as well as those gimmicky bands like Babymetal and Bandmaid). Nightwish you hit the nail on the head - it just beggars me how many years I've tried to like them,but that opera hard rock crossover doesn't do nothing for me...Jinjer ? Pretty tame as far as I'm concerned,but as for Bandmaid and Babymetal- pure theatrics,at least Bandmaid play their own instruments,but nonetheless - boring product. The Warning are the only real deal out of the lot,and are the future of rock !

    I don't really care for this kind of heavily produced video, it's too sterile and the "story" generally distracts from the actual music. It definitely does not capture the essence of The Warning and what makes them special. They excel as a live band and nearly any video of them performing will grab your attention. And if you want to see the drummer (Paulina) absolutely destroy a drum kit watch Unmendable from the 2017 TEDx conference, when she was only 14.

    • @zamdrist

      I feel the same way! This video is too much exposition for my liking. Show me the band doing their thing, that's what I am here for. As videos go, it's a finely produced thing, but you cannot really show me something more compelling than these three fierce ladies.

    A good rock song - perhaps a little generic, so not really outstanding, it just didn't have a "moment" for me. No, my jaw didn't drop either, but after reading subsequent comments regarding their ages I had to give it a little more credence. The fact that they are Mexican AND that young, writing and singing in a language that is not their native tongue really has to be recognised too.
