Idk about that. He’s a powerplay merchant. His best part of his game is his offence, but Quinn hughes is the best offensive defenceman. He’s defence is alright, but doesn’t compare to defensive defecemen. Maybe he is the bwst all around?? Idk
@@owenposer6720 have you seen Quinn's plus/minus? This whole crap of him not being good defensively was a rookie year thing. Since then he's been exceptional defensively.

incredible how small he is physically when in golf gear. I've seen guys like Big Buff in summer clothing and if he ever hit a guy like Makar i think it would kill him.

@@kh72736 Not the same and not how you look at it. Imagine Makar playing in crappy skates and with a wooden stick. Then imagine him not knowing much about concussions, the human body, bad training, bad diets, smoking, really dirty plays (head shots weren't even considered dirty plays back then), not even wearing a helmet, etc... That's the 70's and the era Bobby Orr played in. Makar might get killed in that era.
Now, transferred Bobby Orr to the current era, but do the exact opposite to him and he'll probably last a lot longer.
Having said all that, you can't really compare two players from completely different eras. The equipment and overall knowledge now is much better than the 70's.
The only part i disagree with is when you are talking about the mcann hit it seems like you just blow over the play not being called dead! Player's are taught to play to the whistle. In that situation mcann and makar were both doing their job to the best of their ability with the knowledge they had at the time the referee didnt do his job and mcann and makar end up paying for it! If the ref had just done his job it wouldn't of happened!
I’m pretty sure I mentioned that? If not I definitely agree with you where the ref didn’t do his job.
@@NHLLifestyle yes you did briefly which at first I think I misread as you blowing it over but after watching it again I realized you did a really good job of giving all the information while staying neutral which I'm guessing was intentional! My apologies I will admit that hit is quite the sore spot for me Due to Makar being my favorite player,how easily it could have been avoided and all the nonsense that it caused to all the wrong people!!!!!

Super irresponsible to bring up the 2018 hockey Canada issue when Cale Makar wasn’t at all involved. Also terrible assessment of the hit on McCann. Seems like you just reached to find controversy
Irresponsible how? He was suspended because of it and then I explained that he was cleared of all charges. Those are facts. And the hit was late and I also explained that he thought the puck was out of play. Please listen to the video before making dumb comments.
