Very good decision on the nussbaum lift. We have four of them same lifts in our shop. We had two rotary brand scissor lifts with the two nussbaum lifts. We got rid of the two rotary’s and have four nussbaum’s now. The rotary lifts had issues all the time. The rest of our lifts are post lifts.
The crowbar had me laughing, has every tool in the Milwaukee and Sonic arsenal, has the world’s smallest crowbar.. 😂🤷🏻♂️ At least the forklift is a step up from the motorhoist last time. Byron is an awesome guy btw! Porsche of the lifts for sure! Amazing product with nice technology in it!
You should have cut a channel in the concrete floor toward the wall to hide your hydraulic hoses, and put your pump on the side in order to have clean flat floor.
Great video and lift. Getting ready to start concrete for my shop and was gonna get a atlas flush mount. Now I saw this video and bam, exactly what I want I na lift. The price though!!!!!! Wow
I believe he rents the unit, might be wrong ,so landlord wouldn't be happy digging holes in the floor unless they had an agreement to put back as was should he leave for oghq 3.0
Thank you for posting such informative video. I am about to start building my new home and have already the spot on my three car tandem garage. I learned I need to add a 220v outlet on that wall spot with a 20amp breaker. Not sure I understood the 39 inch hydraulic line limitation. How long advance I need to submit my order for this Jumbo HF 7? I am in New Braunfels TX. I hope a good installer rep could be available. Again Thank you for such a great content video.
The lines at not limited, that’s just the length the lift comes with. You can have made whatever length you’d like. We are about 3 weeks from order to delivery.
The Porsche of lifts? I have 2 maxjax (since 2010) and they have been nothing but stellar for 11 years. I think I’ll save the money I’d spend on one of these and buy myself a special exhaust system...
New lift looks nice. Only thing I would consider is not knocking the old products you offered because when you made videos of those you hyped them up and talked about how good they were. Makes it feel like you're just being a greasy salesman. Just be honest with us about what and why you curate what you curate.
I'd call it evolving as other products become more available and improved. The old lift became difficult to procure. Matt provides us with products that we can actually purchase in a reasonable timeframe and pricepoint.
Give me an example? When have I done that? This is miles better than a Twin Busch, but it's 2.5x the cost. The only reason I stopped selling TB is because they messed up distribution.
Hey, How does the hydraulic locking system work? All the ones I see are mechanical and cant seem to find a decent explanation for the hydraulic system.
@@ObsessedGarage Not even sure what context but I'd smoke you :) Wish I did know, so I could have a perfect smart ass reply. This video is yet another example of why I buy everything from you. Well thought out and one stop solution for those of us who can’t allocate the time to working through all these issues. Thanks for making this accessible for the rest of us so we can actually enjoy our hobby in what little free time we do have.
Pretty much all of these lifts have sealed, greased bearings and are powdercoated, so you could wash on them. It's just not going to last as long and will require more maintenance in the future.
He's way, way off on the price of powder to coat the darn thing but yeah, swapping powder for one lift in the middle of production will cost 2-300$ minimum. So perhaps $500 for the customer? Which is a STEAL for the manufacturer.
Maybe he wasn’t a people person, but he was very knowledgeable on what he was doing. I’d rather have someone who know what they’re doing and be an jerk then a nice people person and be a do nothing.
“Chances are real good if you buy this lift, its going to be around for 25 years”
Unnnless your name is Matt and its upgraded in 2 😂
I like how the lift guy explained everything nice work .I definitely want one now .
He took a beating haha

Never thought I'd see the day I'd be so fascinated and learn so much from a lift install video 🤓
Same here!
Never even though about a lift for personal use.

Must not have been a foam cutout for crowbars.
I love the hyperflow system. I have a 2 post Nusbaum. So simple.
Nice vid matt. Byron seems like a good knowledgeable dude.
Matt that is the my dream scissor lift! Love your garage men ❤️
Nussbaum is about 45 mins or so from me. Pretty cool to see a local company on the channel
The most "practical" thing I saw in this video was Byron.
Hey Matt, ever considered doing a M3 E46 project? Would really love to see how you would build one
He has
@@nate7906 don’t thinks he’s done an e46. Pretty sure it was a F30, but I could be wrong.
@@frankigi He asked if he has "considered" and I replied yes he has. He has not done an E46 yet. He has not done an F30. He has had an F80.

Matt whens part 2 update coming ,extended hoses and working lift ?
"I don't keep stuff that I don't use" - story of my life hahaha I always end up needing it a month or so after I got rid of it -_-

Matt’s pissed about the electrical issue and the hydraulic lines. He doesn’t do Janky!
Nice to see you rocking Reebok sneakers for a change Matt.
Having a garage with a hoist is my ultimate dream, need to retire the jack and jack stands
You could sell with a set length of hose, then supply the JIC fittings and they can have those crimped local to them.
I'm surprised you don't have an inground lift
I believe he rents the unit, might be wrong ,so landlord wouldn't be happy digging holes in the floor unless they had an agreement to put back as was should he leave for oghq 3.0
Correct. I don't own this building.

Just checked out pricing on this. Insanely expensive for what it is considering you can buy a 2 post maxjax for $2,300.
Ha, ha... You get one of those and get back to me when you're ready for the Porsche of lifts.
The Porsche of lifts? I have 2 maxjax (since 2010) and they have been nothing but stellar for 11 years. I think I’ll save the money I’d spend on one of these and buy myself a special exhaust system...
Also swisstrax can handle a fork lift? without shifting or crushing! I think I may need to add those to my plans...
So was the lift running on 220 or 110 after you Jerry rigged that cord? Was it running on a 30 amp 110 breaker ?

Theses videos usually calm me ... not this one...
What happened if it get stuck with your car on it and can’t bring it down?
Hey, How does the hydraulic locking system work? All the ones I see are mechanical and cant seem to find a decent explanation for the hydraulic system.
This is a redundant hydraulic system. I forget what they call it. It allows for an equalization of pressure, so that there is no leveling required.
Ha Mr.Nussbaum seemed like he was upset Matt chose the “pretty” way of mounting lift
Difference between a guy who does things for show vs actual use.
Let's have a lift off Josh. My money is on me.

Just wondering if you could tell me where you got the turning Ramps from? Are they made of metal? Did you fabricate them yourself or can you buy them?
My friend made them for me.
@@ObsessedGarage thank you very much for getting back to me. Does he sell them or do you sell them?
Hi Matt! Question how much is the Nussbaum lift?
I didn't see it, but did you level and plumb the lift or does that still have to be done?
We checked the floor beforehand, so no shimming was needed.
Hey Matt
Ever consider displaying some of those Milwaukee tools on the pegboard?
Definitely not.

How do the price points compare to the “old” lift? That extra height is a game changer.
Double.
Yeah, it's $4000 vs. $1800. There is a much bigger quality difference in this mid rise than there is in the full rise. It's worth every penny.
@@ObsessedGarage are your saying this lift is $4000?
Hey Matt whose garage were you talking about in Atlanta? Going back to VinWiki HQ?
No, going to the Koch Chemie launch.
Lift guy seems wound a little tight
When will you review the kuch chemie products
I'm at the product launch right now. I'll be taking more about them, but I don't really do reviews.
This whole video stressed me out.
Why ?
Same tbh. I'm not sure why.
@@nyusufffff Maybe it's that vacuum cleaner going for most of the start.
I looking for a sissor lift ,looking at all the top brands ,never heard of this brand ,wheres it made, is it us only ?
Likely European.
German Company with locations in U.S.& Canada, Germany, Spain, UK, Poland, Italy, and France
watch the video.....
Like to see you working with Billy. Get that Man a bigger crowbar. Maybe one of those tool cabinets have one? 🤔
All that and you cant use it to take a trans out???
Of course you can
Is this lift waterproof
no it will get wet if you spill some water on it

So those mounting bolts don’t get threaded in? I’d be paranoid as hell lol
They're expansion bolts. They have an expanding sleeve that wedges against the walls of the hole nd mechanically lock it in place. Very safe.
Whatched the whole thing what did I win?
I got a OG favorite Quickjack that currently doesn’t work 😂
Let's fix that! Send an email to story@bendpak.com so we can help.

Matt: are we going to notice any performance differences?
