    Dear @Arabic101, your content is extremely helpful and enlightening and may Allah reward you for your efforts.
    There are around 52 different Ways ( طريق ) for Rewayat Hafs ( حفص عن عاصم ) from Attayyibah ( الطيبة ), each one of them differs with Ashatibiyyah ( الشاطبية ) in up to 6 Major differences ( أصول ) and up to 15 Minor differences ( فرش أو فروع ), Glorifying Madd is one of these 6 Major differences and it is found in only 1 Way of Tayyibah.
    As you mentioned in the video, may Allah bless you, that one should not switch back and forth between elongating the Disconnected Madd or not, it is also necessary that when one reads with a specific Way, they should consider the other differences between that Way and Shatibiyyah, or whatever Way they read with.
    Stating only one of the Major differences in one separate video, without clarifying that this is only one of a set of differences that should be considered, may be misleading to new learners and may lead them at the end to mix between different Ways while reading.
    I am not telling you what to do, but a humble piece of advice, making a dedicated playlist for a specific Way with videos stating all the differences between that Way and Ashatibiyyah will be a perfect addition to your channel in my opinion.
    If you consider doing this, I recommend the book ( أحسن البيان شرح طرق الطيبة برواية حفص بن سليمان ), this book states 52 Ways of Tayyibah and the differences between them and Shatibiyyah briefly and easily.
    Sorry for the long comment and may Allah bless and reward you for your great effort.

      @@abu-ff8ws then it is better to stick with the most common way, or just present the information to spread awareness that if people hear it they should not correct the Imam because it could be read like that. Not telling people that they can do it without the rest of the differences. This is just my opinion, may Allah guide us all.

    ولكن وجب عليك ان تنبه من يسمع المقطع ان هناك فروق بين طريق الشاطبية وطريق الحمامي من طريق الكامل التي اوردها ابن الجزري في طيبة النشر

    Isn't this type of madd from (الطيبة)? 🙂
    And it has conditions like Extending the connected madd for 6 harakat + Keeping the ghunnah of Idgham in
    (ل & ر)
    Because (الطيبة) Added to Hafs the option to extend the connected madd from 3 up to 6 Harakat
    And added to him the option to Do idgham with ghunnah in ل & ر
    It also added to him Glorifying madd 🙂

    This is a great explanation. When you say you can't switch on and off for the entire recitation, are you talking about that ayah alone or for whole sitting? Basically, am I allowed to shorten in one ayah and unshorten in another? Or do I pick one and stick to it until im done with the surah? Thank you

    Do we always have to elongate even when quoting Quran because I have seen shiekhs dropping the madd while reciting it when quoting it or going quickly over it but only using it when reciting it properly in the khutba or in the prayer.

    • @yunusaliakbas9192
      @yunusaliakbas9192 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      it is not obligatory to do the precise madd but preferred. It is completely fine to quote Quran without madd. You can even recite in salah without rules like madd muttasil, idgham, ikhfa and so on, though not preferred. What is obligatory though, to the best of your ability, is to recite with correct pronounciation (makharij).

    • @ImranKhan-gc1tl
      @ImranKhan-gc1tl 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What you're thinking about is called Qasr or shortening the madd. They make it 2 counts instead of 5. I'm not sure what the rules on but a lot of reciters do it. A video on that would be helpful

    • @yunusaliakbas9192
      @yunusaliakbas9192 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, this is madd al-munfasil (madd al-jaa’iz). Reading in the tariq al-shatibiyyah you must elongate it 4 counts (harakat) while reading in the tariq al-tayyibah you must elongate it only 2 counts.
      Many shuyukh say that you can choose between elongating 4 or 2, which is partially correct, since you are allowed to choose between the shatibiyyah recitation or tayyibah recitation as you will. However, you shouldn't to mix between the two, meaning you cannot elongate 4 in one instance and then switch to 2 in another during the same session.
      Another problem that occurs when trying not to mix them, is the fact that there are a few discrepancies between these two turuq (ways of transmission) of Hafs an Asim.
      For example in surah Tur verse 37 the word musaytireen (ٱلْمُصَۣيْطِرُونَ) is recited in tariq al-shatibiyyah with sad (ص) while in tariq al-tayyibah it is recited with sin (س).
      Another example is in surah yusuf verse 11 the word ta’mannaa (تَأْمَ۫نَّا) must be recited using ishmam and not rawm.
      Thus not knowing the slight differences (which are very few) between the two turuq might lead to mixing them together. Many shuyukh however don’t seem to mind people choosing between elongating madd al-munfasil 2 or 4 harakat even if the individual doesn’t know the other discrepancies. This is just something to have in mind while choosing how to recite.
      Our brother from arabic101, may Allah reward him immensely, doesn’t touch on this specific point, but he does have videos explaining madd al-munfasil on his channel.
      And Allah knows best.

      It’s a figure of style. Allah Knows everything in the past and future.
      But imagine if someone is born and died immediately then Allah said to him, I know the future U are going to hell, that d be unjust for the point of view of the person. And since God is the most just of all Judge. So God say he tastes us to see but it s more likely for Us also to testify for our own self about all we have done in the day of Judgement.
