If she knew God is there then why did she go ask for forgiveness. The youth of today are lacking wisdom, and decorum, because they fail to regard the sanctity of tradition and customs which have been instituted since time immemorial: You fail to revere your elders, so how much more can you honour God as you supposed.

    • @MarkNyamekye

I'm disappointed in you to have such words coming from a person claimed to be a Christian. Do you think the fact that God forgives us all the time when we fall short means you should insult your elderly? Remember, the Holy Book strongly advises us on several counts to honour our elders even when they go the wrong way. Don't hide behind God and encourage something evil with the hope that God will forgive you.

Tone and mannerisms are like the clothing of every message; they greatly influence how people react to the message. Just as someone might be judged by their choice of attire regardless of their true worth, a message can be dismissed or be met with anger or resistance based on its delivery, even if it holds valuable insights.
Let’s be honest-her delivery on national television lacked the objectivity and respect needed for such a platform. There was an undertone of bitterness, and her words lacked the respect that should be given to the authority, culture, and heritage of the Asante people.
I'm not Asante myself, but having lived in Kumasi before, I’ve experienced firsthand the warmth, and hospitality of the Asante people and the pride they have for their culture. The respect they hold for their customs, their leaders, and their traditions is truly remarkable. The Asante culture-through its Kente cloth, Adinkra symbols, chieftaincy, and rich history-is one of the most vibrant and enduring in Ghana. Let’s give credit where it’s due.
Instead of discarding what is good about Ghana, we should cherish, maintain, and improve upon it. Our diverse cultures and traditions are the backbone of our identity as Ghanaians. Respect for one another, for our elders, and for the systems that uphold peace and order in our society is non-negotiable.
When we speak the truth, let’s do so with care and respect-dip it in honey first. Respecting our differences and preserving our cultures ensures a harmonious and thriving Ghana for all its people.
on other matters,KEVIN TAYLOR IS A POLITICAL PUPPET, and he himself doe not have respect for people so what makes his perspective on this matter important?

It happened just like this in Rwanda, journalists spoke unguided on radio calling out a tribe …. Branded them cockroaches…. And before they knew their nation wars burning in fires with millions killed in a day , Ghana is a lovely country , we must act fast to quench sensitive issues that has the tendencies of tribal feuds.
I listened to her live on the show and subsequently on social media
I listened very well and far from the words spoken …. the tone and manner with which spoke.
The laxity of the host to call her to order or to fact check her.
The sheer arrogance with which she rants …..
I QUESTIONED WHAT WRONG IT NOW TO BE AN ASANTE IN GHANA ?
Her apology was rightly rejected because it did not merit grievous act of wrong she has committed.
If a child does something bad in school, and he’s called to the disciplinary does he/she not go in the presence of his guardian , or parents ?? How so did she go there without any of her family members ? Why so did the owner of the Media general not go with them but employers went ?

Look at Ghana now, a time like this that the countries that have vision to create something for the youth and citizens to live peacefully, we are also trending in Afia Pokuaa’s issues. Is this a serious country. The time Twene Jonas started insulting the Elders and the leaders in Ghana and how he gained a momentum and had a huge support in Ghana both abroad and local, that was the time I came to my senses and started asking myself so many questions. And now look at where it has generated into. Women in this country are now saying big words to leaders, words that are bigger than their mouths. I was listening to Dormaahene just some few weeks ago, a So called King who is reigning and how women were supporting him, Nana peaaaawooo. We do all this things and after doing it, we go to our various Churches on Saturdays and Sundays and sing praises to the Savior We are joking. The same mindset that that always gather garbage, the same mindset is praising the maker. You people are joking. You Ghanaians can not mock God. Remember that an accountability day is coming and what I know is that what even you think about someone, you will give an account of it, so fellow Ghanaians let us get ready for a serious and horrible accountability day. Thanks 🙏🏽

I was shocked about the way some of the chiefs behaved with their composure. It was useless to dig into her ancestry. If she was born in Kwahu and from Frafra or and Bono or whatever it doesn't matter if she feel to be Kwahu and a full Ghanaian. Once she was ready to apologize that means she has regretted and wanted to make ammends. They hated the girl so much that they lowered their standard in my opinion.

You the presenter of this program, you have a case to answer. It's not necessary to re-echo whatever happens to the public, especially when the information is not palatable and contains unprintable words. To rebroadcast or telecast the words of Charles Taylor, which are vulgar and insulting to the the chiefs who sat in the case of Afia Pokua, is rather unfortunate .The lady from all indications didn't show any remorse and was only there maybe because of the Media General. Have you not seen chiefs of same caliber, crawling and kneeling at Manhyia Palace when they fall palpable with the law. At the moment, my attention is on the gate keeper who rather failed to stop the spread of the information, but to inflame the case by allowing Charles Taylor, who pretend to know it all to ran the chiefs and people of Ashanti down. Charles Taylor seem to think the BBC reporter is above any or all journalists in Ghana, which is sad,. Some of us have had the chance to sit in the classroom with some of those journalists or even listened to their lecturers, which we can say with confidence that they accorded us the great respect for showing excellence. Take note that the adage "Wo Kum Apem Apem Beba" to with "When 1000 warriors Fall, another 1000 will be dispatched". Desist from running commentary on the issue as you're rather fanning the flames, leave Charles Taylor to carry his cross, so also you should consider looking for psychologist to assist Afia Pokua to overcome her suicidal turbulence. Should she take her life, her soul will be restless and will torment those who pushed and urged her to be impulsive, abusive and above all made her believe that the Ashanti Kingdom is a tribe, just like what Charles Taylor is also insinuating. The Spirit of Ashanti Kingdom, whixh is the soul of Ghana lives, the Great Kung, Opemsuo Osei Tutu II, have your peace, you have the men and women ready to carry the fight to those who will initiate it. #Ghana Shall Rise Again. Ghana is Rising.

When I hear comment like this it beggars believe how one who has schooled herself to read and write still be basal in her thinking.
      1. We all are in the country Ghana bound by one constitution which rule us
      2. The constitution entrusts all minerals in the care of the president. And as such no king or chief can claim ownership of minerals in his domain.
      3. We pay taxes, which is used to pay executive instruments like the police, buy cars , provide them with all essential tools to arrest offenders of the law and to protect state properties
      3. We erect buildings in all our districts to serve us representatives of the government, we call them local government. We pay them with our taxes , we buy SUV’s for them , we pay them lofty allowances to be the eyes and ears of the government in every area.
4.We have environmental protection agency , we pay these people with our taxes to protect our environment.
All these agencies will be there and not working as it should and we take the blame to a palace ? To solve our problem ? To stand a protect our environment? Are we serious in this country ? Where is the Police which we payed to do that job ? Where are the municipal chief executives ? Where are the environmental protection agencies? And what are they doing ?
