[4K] 5X F-35A Lightning II on Saturday at Leeuwarden Air Base

On Saturday, September 2, 5 F-35A Lightning II fighter aircraft took off to perform an indie memorial flight at the indie monument in Roermond. After the commemorative flight, they flew to the world port days in the port of Rotterdam and then also visited Hoogeveen airport for a flyby. After the tour of the Netherlands, the 5 F-35 fighter jets returned to the concrete of Leeuwarden Air Base.

Zag afgelopen zaterdag deze gasten over de haven van Rotterdam knallen.
Maakte op de bezoekers van de Wereldhavendagen Rotterdam werkelijk indruk, had in de gaten dat dit de boys uit Leeuwarden waren en daarom ff de duim omhoog nu weer👍👍. Thx.

Goedenavond.
Was daar in de stand van de vakbond FNV Havens als kaderlid. Heb mij daar wel vermaakt. Aankomende jaren zal er een tekort ontstaan aan havenwerkers. Ben zelf sinds kort ook met pensioen.

I sure hope that NATO hasn’t thrown its fate upon a potentially rotten apple. Though, the Boeing X-32 was absolutely hideous. That was a cross between a hippo and a hot water heater. My worry is did Lockheed oversell its capability? Avionics withstanding.
