Fantastic finds! One of the first bottles I (Gail) ever dug up as a kid in New Zealand, was a Warner's Safe Cure Melbourne - unfortunately, my mother sold it 😭 xx
I came her via 'Manchester Mudlarks' so just starting a binge watch, I can just hear Sarah crying as you idly toss aside what she would call little treasures😄That liittle odd one is a 'non spill ink', great video fabulous finds.👍
I dug in the early 70s to the late 80s, never dug or saw a WARNERS SAFE CURE dug. A friend & me used to dig a "farm tip", but it wasnt as deep as the one you are digging, I seem to recall it was about 4 feet at the deepest ( not very often though) it seemed to be more, as I remember, full of bottles, jars tins etc, not all good stuff either. We used to get a lot of Newark, Mansfield, Sutton in Ashfield Nottingham stuff, we were members of the Trent Valley Bottle Club, everyone wanted to know where we were digging, we only went on Sunday mornings, we got there one Sunday & it loooked like there had been a 3rd World War, stuff was thrown every where, there was holes like bomb craters all over. Needless to say, we had been followed, and whoever followed us hit it hard, & that was the end of that dig for us. I hope no one does the same to you & your tip. First time Ive watched one of your videos, its a subscribe & thumbs up, take care & stay safe.
Thanks for watching mate. Wish the tips I went on were on 4 feet deep haha and I wish I could of dug in the 70s and 80s that was a good time for the diggers. I mostly dig sites where the ones who have dug it years ago aren't bothered about haha. Ye I've had that problem a few times with these videos people trying to find my spots. I can't put videos on as often as I'd like for that fact as well. Cheers 👍
Some lovely finds there . Nice Codds and Mineral Waters . Yes that little bottle was a non spill Ink . I have two in my collection, but mine are much flatter and wider , with a distinct upside down internal cone shape ( concave ) The treasure that are within that Ash. Warners a great find ! Never found a Warners or a complete Codd meself . .
Dug a miniature amber warners and a green nervine warners at the old reading hospital site about 20 years ago lovely bottles also dug one of those nonspill inkwells was told it was a haileys patent washed and had a job to get the water out of it
The small weird bottle is a non-spill ink I think pal. If you knock them over the ink doesn't pour out or that's the idea at least. Queen Sheba Gold was gold paint.
@@crusaderdanbottledigginguk I just checked my eBay purchases I paid $46 aussie $$ plus $15 post lol and sold it as a mate annoyed it out of me lol for $90 posted and I didn’t even want to sell it lol 😂
