Aurora Borealis Time lapse Alaska Greg Syverson

Aurora Borealis Time-lapse of dancing multi-colored photons of light putting on a show over the Beaufort Sea in Alaska. Greg Syverson armed with a Canon 1DX captures the fast moving event by shooting multiple frames per second. A Canon 24mm 1.4 lens is able to allow the low light capture and still provide a sharp image. Shot November 2, 2013 just six miles off the coast of the top of Alaska. During the winter the extreme cold temperatures freeze the oceans surface. In places 8 feet of ice will form.
