What an incredible story and episode. CA and Carter made that hour fly by. I was able to look at my past with my dad watching those shows in 2000’s

🌴 Just amazing, love listening to how these great fishermen started and life’s adventure, I kinda look at ya CA as the second generation carrying the torch but you’ve got a bit of advantage, doing you tube as the next video form to bring entertainment and knowledge, the really cool part is your super good at what your doing and your friendship with these special people, just keep doing what your doing, this is part of your journey and legacy 👊🏼👍🏼

Pushing a 55 gallon drum of fuel up the beach can't be fun. I used to push pangas (wooden boats, pretty heavy) on logs up and down the beach in Costa Rica so we could go fishin'. Down was hard enough but back up after trolling and catching piles of fish was torture in Pavones. But worth every second of pain. I miss it.

4 marlin on at once with 2 people on board? And your help is hooked up too? That's the kind of shit show I'd love to witness.
I have to agree, this man is very interesting and he's a good story teller. And he still has that energy and excitement like a kid just getting hooked on fishin'. Thanks for this interview.

    C. Rica and Panama were the marlin capital no questions.

I lived in Costa Rica for 9 years. The fishin' is pretty awesome. I never went to fish for marlin but I saw a huge one on the surface one morning just offshore. My uncle was afraid to drag lures in front of it 😂. It was less than a mile out. I saw sailfish too but never hooked one, we didn't go out very far. But I caught piles of yellowfin tuna, dorado, mackerel and other fish there. And I didn't want to move back to the states but had to.

This is all well and good but the real pioneers of fishing were around in the 60 ,70 and 80s.
