Love the video! I’ve been blanking for 10 years now! Only been for a week each year but in all that time only had one on (very briefly). Really helpful to see how you fished the water! Catch or not. Brilliant video.
Glad you enjoyed it. That sounds like you are obviously finding another form of enjoyment from your fishing which is to be admired. Ten years is a long time though, I bet when you do eventually land one you will wet yourself. There is nothing like the pull of a salmon.
@@abakerslife ha ha ha. That’s true. I love a day on the water even if I don’t get a pull. This year I’m heading to 6 different Scottish rivers this year to give myself more of a chance. Hopefully this is the year …..but time will tell! In the mean time I’ll keep trying to learn some tips from your videos buddy!
Looks like a great bit of water to fish. Been the story of 2023 blanking more often than I care to admit. Hope you have a great new year when it comes and tight lines for 2024.
Bellingham is one of my favourite places. Adam is a great chap and knows the river like the back of his hand. River, Ghillie and Riverdale Hall hotel all five-star. Thanks for the video-happy New Year !
That's means you and him have salmon fishing in the blood. Are you going to be out again this season? I reckon you will get a fish out of that bridge pool if you keep at it. If I was you I'd be there first thing in the morning as soon the water level starts to drop.
Really love these videos - and they are talking me into a Hardy NSX :)
Many thanks, I hope Hardy are listening!

I'm no expert but I suspect that even in the good old days blanking was a more common occurance than catching! Happy New year

Happy new year to you too. I'm sure I will have another cast up there again this year.
Great video. I'm looking forward to seeing the next one. Happy New Year 🎉
Same to you!
Fantastic beat! Needs water, but frightening wading 😮
I agree it's a lovely beat but tbh compared to where I fished most of last year on the north Tyne the wading, even at 13 cumecs was fantastic.
Had a few off the riverdale beats myself this year..
My phone may or may not have went for a swim at the junction pool as well 🤣
I thought I stepped on a phone at one point!
My dad youst to live at Bellingham
