I built It in 1.19.2 and it's working but I had to make some changes:
I covered a 15×15 area under the farm with slabs to prevent golem from spawning in the wrong spot
I added a zombified piglin in a boat in front of the item collection area, this way the golems will go towards the piglin and fall into the lava more easily
But they are punching each other so when you are waiting like 2 minutes its not important
Bit now its works because i build it at The same version and isn’t work

For people wondering if this farm works is 1.19.3 it works perfectly fine and gave me a bit over 1700 iron an hour.
I hope you dont get in a bassalt delta as i did. When putting in the zombies make sure you block off your back so the iron golems cant kill him. For getting in the villagers activator rails are good to you use. Have fun with this infinite amount of iron!!!

@lyricallords not sure, probably yeah, though, considering that y coordinates don't matter too much, so if they are stacked above each other, they would teleport to the same killing chamber
TIP: If iron golems are getting stuck and not teleporting go through every portal to see if they are all linked. If a few take you to a new portal BUILD THE KILLING CHAMBER ON THAT NEW PORTAL. Another tip, if they are all linked and a golem gets stuck every once in a while (dont confuse the two) that means he's traveled to the nether and back. A way to fix that is to put a piglin across from where the golems come into the nether so they immediately target him and walk in lava. Like so others don't have to experiment like I did for hours.
Also don't forget to disable your first killing chamber portal

you can also set up a hopper sorting system and have the poppies fed into a composter for infinite bonemeal. you dont get too crazy of a yield but its something, and it gives a use for the poppies
And remember to set up a buffer chest with a fill limit to always have some red dye available, you never know.

If u are wondering why there arent any golems spawning, check if the villagers are sleeping. If not, replace the beds so that the pillow-side is in the middle.

5% hoppers
95% badass building blocks for other farms
I'd trade the iron and use emerald blocks

Thank you guys sooo much for this!! I tried to follow MineTheFab's video, but this one was much easier to follow and had a n improved design.
BTW For future reference, when they tell you to mine a big area out from around the portal, you don't really need to and it is ok to just mine as needed in the following steps.

I built this on 1.17 (Paper Server) and it didn't work for me at first, after some experimenting I realized that the 6th portal doesn't link properly (this causes the golems to not go through). To prevent this, when you first enter the nether, enter with a portal that is closer to the center of the build, that way all the portals will be correctly linked.
Tips:
You should block off the villager's vision to the zombie before going in the nether unless you want your nether to be flooded with golems. (remember to remove the blocks after!)
You can build the collection area in the nether roof because the Y level of the nether portal does not matter.
Make sure you go through all 6 nether portals to ensure that they are correctly linked before you start building the collection area.
You can build this farm in your spawn chunks so it always works even when you are not near the farm.
You can use a Piglin as bait so the golems walk into the lava straight away instead of staying on the trap door until they get pushed off.

If your farm doesn't spawn Iron golems at all. You have to change the bed position so that villagers make that green particle thingy. Then it only counts as a village and starts spawning golems. (It took me 3 hours to figure this stuff, now it spawns iron golems in 3 secs.)

I had a similar problem with a different iron farm. A usual issue is that villagers don't accept their beds. The fix is to just break the beds and place them again.
Bro it’s still not working for me they got the green particles but nothing is spawning
whats the way to place the beds because the pillows all face the middle block
I struggled at first and did not understand why it would not work in 1.18, however after watching the video again. I realized that it is VERY IMPORTANT to place the beds correctly! If you do not place them with the pillow next to the center block, it will not work! Thanks Shulkerdudes! awesome video. I hope you will point things like this out in future videos! :)

A way to increase your yield would be the following :
Give all your villagers a workstation (Put it in those empty blocks and then remove the glass above the center and place another)
Make sure all the beds have the pillow in the center
That glass block you leave open needs to be facing the zombie
Place the farm on the nether roof at the coordinates it takes you to underneath it
Grow grass underneath your farm as it spawnproofs it from the iron golem
If you guys like this enough and remind me I could make an updated version of this farm on a video for you to follow

Worked in the 2nd 1.19 prelease! I made sure to link all the portals but I'm drowning in iron now!
Useful tip: if you want to increase your farm rate, cover 15x15 area around the farm by any type of slabs (Just check for a little bit whether golems spawn under the farm or not. Then expend the slabs if needed.) It might prevent iron golems spawning under the farm, so all of them will spawn properly. If you don't want to spawn-proof you can build this above ocean. Hope It'll help.
Upd: still works on 1.18. my two farms (I stacked them vertically) produce 262 iron blocks per hour.
I did that and for some reason it just made it that no golems were spawning for me

After troubleshooting a bit with this farm in 1,17, ive realised that if u build it like he built it, it wont work, 1 if the golems arent going through the portal then break the building blocks and place em back again, (fixed it for me) 2 if that dosent work ive heard that if u break 1 block of all the portals and put em back again and light the portal back it it should work but it didnt work for me,

Uhh for some reason the villagers won't sleep on the beds
Coming back a year later to this vid, I noticed something interesting. The farm itself (not including height) is 17x17. The farm produces over 17-hundred ingots per hour (as the title suggests). Fun coincidence.
for people who dont get iron or the villigers somehow dont go sleep. you have to replace the beds again so they go sleep after it, it will be fixed and it will work perfectly

This farm’s tutorial is incredibly inefficient. Here’s the best order to build it in:
1. Pillar up 10 blocks. Your area must be either on a flat surface or on a peak, 20-50 blocks from a villager breeder which is 3-10 blocks above it, and not within 100 blocks of a portal. Save your X and Z coordinates.
2. Go to the nether roof at the coordinates you are building at divided by 8, tower up 10 blocks, build a 3x3 portal, and follow the nether collection area instructions.
3. Build the farm’s main spawning area surrounding the central block you found earlier.
4. Build the zombie cages as instructed and get zombies in by any means.
5. Light the portals and go through the center one. If it links to the killing chamber, everything is as it should be. Go back to the overworld.
6. Build the villager areas and transport the 12 villagers from the breeder via rails.
7. Enjoy 1700 iron per hour 😉

farm works great! I built this on 1.17.1 and 1.17 and all of the golems seemed to be spawning properly and going through the portals. Overall great farm. If you're having troubles with the villagers not sleeping in their beds, break the bed and place it again until they sleep. If your having troubles with the golems spawning, break the portal and relight it. Make sure you go through it first.

1. make sure that the villagers see the zombies otherwise it will spawn very slowly
2. if the iron golems go into the storage system but they dont die try to make the lava one block lower

i am playing on server and my friend made a mistake that he made the glass tube 9 blocks in height instead of 8 so the golems werent dying,so the only case in which u have to make the lava 1 block lower

!!! The farm needs to be built differently to work in 1.20.1 !!! Instead of placing the portals with 1-block gaps, break the middle portals to make the gap 3 blocks big. To stop the iron golems from spawning beneath the farm, place buttons under the portals on the ground.

Iron golems can spawn on slabs if there are solid blocks under it. Use buttons on the top, golems will not more spawn on it.
**READ THIS IF THE IRON GOLEMS AREN'T GOING THROUGH YOUR OVERWORLD PORTALS, THIS WILL FIX IT!**
BREAK ONE BLOCK OF EACH PORTAL TO TURN THEM OFF AND THEN PLACE THEM BACK. THEN TURN THEM BACK ON, THIS SHOULD FIX THE PROBLEM, ENJOY YOUR IRON!

@PemAdam i mean first of all, they have eff 5 netherite pickaxes, so obsidian doesn't take that long to mine, and tbf, teh rates are easily worth the slight extra time. Its most certainly a mid game farm, maybe early game if you want to spend some time, and if your complaining, go look and find a bedrock iron farm. Fucking 20 villagers just to get 400 iron an hour. Even with 80 villagers we get almost 400 less iron than this in one hour. So stop complaining.

If anyone is having an issue where the iron golems are not going through, a possible reason is because that portal is not loaded, so you have to make sure you entered every single one of the portals at least once. hope that helps since i was having that problem.

tip 3: build a chunk loader in the nether that drops an item into the iron golem exit portal every 10 seconds to keep the overworld part of the farm running, and you can then afk in the nether instead. for better results, build a second item dropper in the overworld high above the farm that drops an item every 10 seconds so you can have the farm running while you're doing something else in your world.

Thank you so so much for this tutorial! I built this farm in my survival world and in exactly 30 minutes of afk I actually got 1250 iron ingots, so for me the production rate is 2500 iron per hour!

tip 2: when building the farm, build a temporary iron golem below the farm trapped in a fence so villagers won't spawn extra ones. kill the temporary golem or make it walk away after you're done building.

Just finished building this in 1.19.2 and at first it didn't work. I tried to troubleshoot everything; I broke all the beds and replaced all the villagers. I then watched Mine the Fab's Easy compact 16 pod tutorial and followed the bed layout exactly and it worked. In my initial bed layout, all the pillow parts were next to the central square so I think the issue was also linked to the exact positioning of the beds within the pods as well as the pillow position. Hope this helped someone, best of luck!

If you see golems jumping on zombie roofs. make a glass block wall and add slabs on top, to the end portals. this will prevent them from going towards zombies
A fun thing to do is build this directly above a portal-based guardian farm. This will send all the mobs to the same kill chamber. Then you can set up an item sorter and your afk time will be that much more efficient.

@@trumanmccaslin21 make sure you clear out an area 9 blocks below the whole farm and 8 blocks sideways from the villagers (9 blocks below under the whole farm and 8 blocks away)
**VERY IMPORTANT**
(Feel free to like so more can see this)
- Yes, the farm works in Java 1.17.1.
- No, you do not need a chunk loader. You can AFK the farm near the spawning area in the overworld, or have the farm build in the spawn chunks of your world so it will work even if you are not near it. The nether doesn't require a chunk loader because when the golems go to the nether, the nearby chunks of the killing area in the nether get loaded. The same way a chunk loader works but with a drop item, not a mob.
- I built my farm above water, in my spawn chunks. Doing this will probably be a lot more frustrating but I'd recommend you do the same.
If the golems aren't spawning then ensure that the beds are placed exactly like shown in the video.
You can very easily temporarily fix the zombified piglin problem by exceeding the 128 block radius of the spawning platform, which should despawn the zombie piglins. If the piglins are spawning at a very fast rate, it may be due to changing the tick speed of your world (if you have cheats enabled).
At the moment, the only way to avoid zombie piglins from spawning is to build the farm in your spawn chunks and go 128 blocks away. Then it will work in the background, no matter where you are.
TL;DR:
- Works in Java 1.17.1, but not in Bedrock.
- Chunk loaders aren't required.
- Build this farm in your spawn chunks. You can use ChunkBase website or Minihud mod to view spawn chunks.

Tip Make it in spawn chunks so that i you go away from your farm it still works and dont break
tip if u want the golems to die faster (idk why it doesnt make the production rates more ) break 2 glass infront of the portal in the nether get a pigman name tag it put it 1 block behind the broken glass and place 1 trapdpoor and make sure its like a door

For anyone having the golems not going through the portals, press F3 + A to reload the chunks then go through the nether portal then back.

This is for those who have a problem were iron golems dont teleport, (relighting portal didnt work for me). So bassicaly go inside all portals in farms and for me other portal appeared on top of an old portal, then rebuild the killing chamber there and break the old portal. And u should be good.

Btw iron golems have a hit box of more than one block so to save obsidian you can have 2 blocks between every portal and the rate won’t change at all
The thing is that he does all this in survival that’s very impressive
I totally recommend building this farm first before your 2nd farm, you WILL want that iron for the hoppers.
i would go with ianxofour's iron farm design as your first iron farm and have this as the second
Note both to self and anyone else building the farm: build it many blocks above the ground. I would do at least 24 blocks above the ground or over an ocean so the iron golems don't spawn on the ground so you don't need to spawnproof too much.

For any one saying 'mine isn't working', maybe you had the same problem as I did:
I roofed the entire spawning platform with half slabs, and not just the nether portals. Once I removed the excess slabs, I started seeing spawns every ~10 seconds as opposed to none at all.
Edit:
Wiki says pigmen need light level 11 or lower to spawn on the nether side of the farm- this particularly happens on the bottom obsidian blocks of the portal, and maybe even on the hoppers. I've added torches as close as possible to these spots to prevent that--- I'll let you know if it does any good.

Still getting a few spawns here and there, but not as bad as it was
if the farm doesnt work for you, you might have to put a block in front of the zombies to let your villagers sleep (dont forget to remove it after they do). worked for me

If this doesn’t work for anyone here’s some pointers that might help:
1.) my portal (all portals, not the entire farm) are in the same chunk)
2.) My farm wasn’t working at first, until I killed the original Golem that spawned (underwater so I forgot abt him).
3.) have to stay in overworld. as far as I could tell, no golems spawned when I was afk in the nether.
You can make a chunk loader and go away but why wont it work if all portals are in the same chunk ?
you have to be in the overworld for spawn chunks to load
tip : where theres space between beds fill it with slabs and remove the glass on top of the beds so they can see the zombie and the golems can spawn

For some reason I couldn't see the iron golems spawning in the overworld so i thought it didn't work but when I went to the nether I already had 5 stacks of iron lol. Very good video, when I build farms I always check out shulkercraft videos first.
Mine just doesn't work I've rebuilt it twice and checked everything. Big sad
@@jacksonmilinovich1533 Did you really check everything? The most important parts are HOW the beds are positioned and where the zombie are. If you do that wrong, it will not work.
You see them for a very short amount of time. Or just something white flashing.
