I was born in 87 so i wasnt around too see Ronnie N them boys play but i know all about them.... This is the version of Skynyrd i grew up with and to me its good enough bc they are carrying on a 50 year legacy... I was lucky enough to see Gary, Billy, Leon, play for Skynyrd
Same here sir I was also born in 87 and am so thankful and grateful to be able to say I got to see them in concert with Gary and luckily was able to do the meet and greet and meet all of them including Gary, Gary is the one that made me have the desire to learn to play, his sound and techniques are so different than the rest of the guitarist. Truly a legend and The Last Rebel.
All of this wonderful history, music, entertainment and tragedy all gone with the wind with Gary Rossington’s passing. What in the world would we have enjoyed over the past 45 years if that damn plane hand landed safely.
The prospects are unimaginable when you factor in the addition of Steve Gaines and his untapped talents. Street Survivors was just a glimpse of what was to come. I had the good fortune to see the Greenville South Carolina show the day before the plane crash and words can not describe how good they were that night. Like a Shakespearean tragedy that last show was probably there greatest performances. The band is gone now as is the building where they performed but the spirit lives forever. RIP Freebirds
Absolutely love Gary Rossington!!+ in my opinion the best slow hand lead guitarist and always loved how Johnny introduced him on tuesdays gone during his solo, Gary WILL ALWAYS be the True SimpleMan. Love how they made Tuesdays Gone his tribute video song. I dont think it could be any better! Lynyrd Skynyrd forever! Gary Rossington forever!!!!!
My favorite thing about this rendition of this song is that FINALLY, FINALLY at least that I'm aware the true star of this song, of course that being Gary Rossington was pointed out and given the attention he deserved. This song was not just the song that got me into Skynyrd all those years back, but the love for dreary, sad guitar solos, etc.
Really like Johnny and so happy he stepped in to take over for Ronnie but let’s be honest, he’s not Ronnie and the songs have a definite different feel (to me). Kudos to the band….you guys rock! Love you LS 😘🥰😍
Hey there dude. He is not playing Berniece. Bernice is haning on a wall in Orlando: R&R Hall of fame museum. Besides some other great guitars (Allen's Xplorer, Gary's SG ('61LP really), Duane Allman's LP...). I think he plays an Iced Tea R9 (gold hardware, ABR1, I'd dare to say Seth Lover pickups, etc... Good thing). But the most important: He is GARY ROSSINGTON, and there is only one in the world. That's what it makes everything sound the way it sounds. Cheers!

If anyone is wondering why Gary has short here, it's because this was around the time he was arrested. So he had to cut his hair.
Forgot to add one thing, does anyone know if the Paul he is playing is the famed "Berneice"?
yes ky.
ECCEZIONALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!XDXD
ELE MORREU CARA,ELE E A BANDA
Your brother my friend hey BILLY BOY play that piana
who told Johnny Van Zant it was a good idea to use all that sign language or whatever as visual aid? It made me cringe
어떻거 된거임. 비행기 추락사한거같은데.
This is so sad that a stupid, so young airplane pilot was unable to fly an airplane from Biloxi to Jacksonville. Then killed Leanord Skynyrd!
