I've been a fan from Midwest Whitetail to Chasing November and since the beginning of THP and these guys have earned their success. Best hunting show hands down. They are masters of their craft for sure.
Yeah same here. I was a fan of their style compared to Winkes cautious style when they interned on MWW. Bill is very effective but I think the mobile style is much more appealing and rewarding.
So many ground hunts to chose from! I really thought the one of Zack in New York with the buck tending the doe in the goldenrod field would have been in there! Buck runs under the pine tree and dies 20 yards from the camera! CLASSIC Zack hunt! Can’t wait for the 2021 Deer Tour! Pumped
Yeah I don’t understand how that New York giant Zach killed didn’t get included in best ground hunts montage. That’s the best hunt/footage I’ve ever seen.
Zac and Dylan’s New York spot and stalk was definitely top of the list for honorable mention in this ground hunting category. You’ll guys make it look easy but humble enough to share the knowledge to us. Thank you guys!!
You boys are awesome. The hunting shows on TV cant hold a candle to this content. The more I get into bow hunting and watching these videos, the more I feel like rifle hunting is boring.

Two out of the five in the narly ND. No matter, where you go in the world to hunt, it will never beat hunting the ND Badlands. Thinking outside the box is a huge advantage here. And THP excels greatly in that....Hope you boys come back for another.

Zacks North Dakota spot and stalk is favorite of all THP! I got so jacked up watching that first time I felt like I was there. I got so nervous and then yelled along with Zach when he got him😂
I said that the previous video was the perfect 👌 video to follow behind the Turkey 🦃 Tour to get people pumped up for whitetail deer 🦌 and archery 🏹 season and it was. This was the best follow up to that video. I literally have goosebumps and the my arm hair is standing up after watching those clips. I am so looking forward to getting after them again and getting redemption. I remember all those hunts from Jake with the short hair in the corn 🌽 buck, Ted’s Mizzou buck, Zach’s belly crawl half a mile SD buck, Greg’s rattle and decoy buck, and Warb’s get the dogs out didn’t go anywhere buck that starred in the last video talking about heavier arrow set ups and for people not to think 🤔 they’re brush beater arrows. I like how each of the main 5 members had a showcase for this video. Gooch was definitely witness to multiple big bucks being taken last year. Great job Gooch. Way to pick awesome interns guys. I myself hunt from the ground and put more time in last year than I ever have. It showed with the amount of encounters that I had even though I missed three does and should have drawn on that big buck. I did however buy a Tethrd ESS saddle for certain situations and areas that I know hold deer 🦌 and being elevated could be beneficial. All of these were phenomenal hunts, but for my money (and I am biased as a NY hunter) was Zach's Goldenrod buck, that may still be the best hunt ever filmed. But thanks THP for helping me through the duldrums of fishing, beers, baseball, and BBQs- I'm not wishing summer away but...

I listened to a pod cast of yours before mn youth opener. As I take my young ones out for that season. I applied your ground noise tactic. Planning on sneaking into a bedding area. Letting noise settle down as I had a 12 year old with me. In this area for the past previous years I always blow a nice buck out during pre rut. I planned the wind right. We bumped a deer right away. I was kind of doubtful. We worked our way along side of a beaver pond. Stood for awhile over looking this bedding area. After letting it settle for 15 mins. I told my boy just think how many deer we are looking at that we cant see. I told him to keep a look out. I scraped the ground as to sound like a buck scraping. I bought this year a Allen shooting stick for my boy. I proceeded to rub a young oak tree like a buck rubbing. I did this twice over a 10 min period. Next thing a buck popped out of the very thick bedding brush looking our way across the pond. I quick told my boy, and propped up the shooting stick. As he settled. Boom! dropped it first shot. It being his first buck ever ! So in part thanks for that podcast of ground noise ! I applied it and he got a very nice mature 10 pt ! Couldnt be prouder as he held out for a buck this year!
Those are the deer 🦌 hunts that definitely stick out in my memory of watching THP but as God as my witness you should of played the grunting/rattling sequence from Greg's hunt it was epic if anyone else remembers well fellas that was a good ol best of content . Good luck on the Hogs 🏹 🐗 👍

I hunt mostly from a saddle these days after watching you guys do it. Chur chur brothers

These ground stalks are absolutely insane! I can’t imagine a scenario where I try any of these and end up successfully harvesting a beautiful mature buck. Turkey hunting, yes, but white tails are a whole other ballgame.
I can't believe you guys left out Zach's ghillie suit crawl up and shoot buck from a few years ago. That was the best hunting video I had ever seen up until that point.
Second buck "Ted's " I thought they were busted but I looked at the leaves and the wind was good.it looked like the buck looked right at them.i get so nervous when I watch others hunt.i guess its cuz I love it so much I just want to see these guys be successful.awesome video.cant wait till October 1st to get in the woods with the bow again.
My favorite wasint even a kill..it was when Greg took his recurve out and set up in this area off the side of this little open meadow and the deer popped out of nowhere and before he could react and draw on it, it was 5 yards infront of his only shooting window and he took off.
Im.glad you guys hunt for the ground,I personally hate tree stands I had bad experience when I was younger and just hated them ever since...Glad to see a channel that proves you can hunt white tail from the ground
I have an old VHS tape from around 1990 called "Whitetail, Eye To Eye" by a guy named Alan Altheiser. He was a phenomenal ground hunter and killed some nice bucks for back then.
@@russelllangworthy8855 yeah I've been doing a ton of research on it,I about feel from between 25 or 30 foot when I was a kid (maybe 12 or 13) someone else had put it up and I was just told to hunt it anyway ever sense I just don't like getting in one.So intake scent control very serious, I love a blind,or natural blind.

I hunted from the ground my first few yrs of bowhunting back in the '70s and I shot a few does, but I prefer a treestand when I have the option. Good luck out there. If you're successful from the ground, you're a better hunter than most guys.
Come too Harlan Ky where nobody comes to for a white tale hunt. There’s big old bucks here with not much management if any! There’s log roads here all over from the early 1900’s to new ones everyday! Needless to say in order to be able to have at least a spot clear enough to sneak in and find sign!

Zach's hunt in North Dakota was my favorite. Filming was great on that too. The suspense leading up to the kill was awesome!
