Well done video, but you're totally off regarding the Sigma's inability to handle responsibility, not wanting to be tied down, and wanting to live a minimalist lifestyle. Those are submissive, introverted Beta male qualities and have absolutely nothing to do with being sigma. As you did correctly state, Sigmas are very self reliant, enjoy learning, and are usually experts in many fields. If you can't handle clutter and fear being tied down, you can't be ANY of those things. If you need to have as few possessions as possible just to feel like you're not stressed out or so you can go off on a wild, impulsive trip, then you're about as far as being a Sigma as you can get! For examples, Sigmas do not rely on anyone. Many are DIY experts and can maintain their own vehicles and homes, and consequently have a garage full of tools to work on such things. Many can also cook, so they tend to buy homes with large, well-stocked kitchens. They also love animals, so it would be impossible to have them in a small apartment with no possessions (unless it's a single cat, which again is more of a Beta male quality). Finally, being experts in their field, they will have lots of items around them to help be the expert they are. For example, a computer engineer might have an entire room full of servers, workbenches, and other computers and parts. A history professor might have a house full of antiques and other items related to his field of specialty. I'ts the Sigmas intelligence that allows him to maintain all of these things without being overwhelmed.
I've heard that there was a big growth of sigma males in the last several decades. Has anyone looked at the growth in conjunction with gen x in the way they were raised? Many had to practical raised themselves and have become fiercely independent, self sufficient, and like to remain under the radar. Many people, including media and government forget they even exist.
