@@desertf0x44-l5d Hello Mackenzie, to answer your question those guys are the army of a country called Marleo's United Companies (M.U.C for short), fighting against another faction called the Shepherds ( guys with the yellow signs on there hat). The two factions are fighting for control of the island called Marleo. Both factions will be seen with new vehicles and units as the series goes on, as well as frontline changes on the island and there different ideologies as factions.

Shepherd soldiers are usually civilians that lived on Shepherd side of the island and would get around 3 weeks in combat training, while MUC soldiers get around 1 to 2 months in combat training in comparision. The shepherds also generally use manpower a lot more in there stratagies compared to MUC, so they want to put more soldiers on the frontline faster.

on the war map at 6.49, does the shephard platoon next to the long grey rectangle builidng represents the backup squad or those stationed there as the defenders as the rectangle grey building is their (temporary) headquarters should they need to fall further back? spealing of rectangle white building, what does the shephard logo next to it represent? like there's an (oval?) at the centre of the rectangle. what does the triangle shephard symbol represent? and does the platoon symbol of the shephards and M.U.C on the 2 columns on the left represent anything? at 6.55, when M.C.U reinforcement came in at the centre and on the huge rectangle, what does the symbol represent (Two hexagons?)? like is that a vehicle support (tank or helicopter) or just more soldiers (prob elite)? at
For the platoon in the back, it was a measure put in by the Shepherd’s commander to replace any retreating/broken platoons on the contact line with M.U.C. Kind of like reserves in a way. The oval in the middle means it has armored vehicles within the platoon along with infantry. Ones with no symbol in them are just infantry. The two on the left for the shepherds flashing white and very cracked represents them retreating due to many losses, while the M.U.C platoons with medium or little cracks represent them pushing with little or medium losses. The triangle represents Anti-Air units, these are later seen shooting down the M.U.C helicopter towards the end. The one with the two hexagons represents a helicopter, coming in with the elite soldiers that got dropped in through the roof of the Shepherds HQ.
Yup! In the middle of the fighting between the two factions, the Shepherds and M.U.C(Marleo's United Companies), the mobsters snuck in as an unknown to both sides. The only goal for the mobsters was to retrieve the briefcase from the Shepherds (the faction with the gold symbols on their hats) and to drop it off at a certain location for a unknown contact who hired them in order to get paid very well. Those said people who hired them, ambushed the mobsters at the drop-off point. The mob guys then knew who hired them, but it was too late. I may continue their story in later work.

The Turf war animation takes place on the same island where this war is happening, also being in one of the biggest cities under the control of the guys with the helmets(Marleo's United Companies aka M.U.C) that has high Mafia/gang activity. The next episode of Marionette Vendetta will include the Purps faction for sure and maybe the stripes, it will focus more on Mafia/gang life of Marleo which is the name of the island this is located at.

@@zhongqfj8963Hello Zhong! For the war question it is mainly between the Shepherds and M.U.C, both wanting to take the whole island for themselves. While the Purps just want to continue their underground criminal activities within cities of the island for profit no matter who owns the island. The Purps rarely get involved with the war unless it is affecting their trades routes to illegally sell weapons, drugs, or other illegal items. The stripes on the other hand are less organized than the Purps, being a standard gang running around and doing small crimes across the island's cities. For the one island question, yup! All fighting between the factions takes place on one island. For the lesser evil question, it would be up to you on what faction you would want to root for! With M.U.C being a more of a dictatorship with good technology and depending more on armor vehicles in their tactics. While the Shepherds are an insurgency also being a dictatorship and are more under equipped and rely on tactics involving manpower or fast and light armored vehicles more frequently. The Shepherds would view the war as taking back there lands and depending on there own resources on the island to make things, with rarely trading with other countries outside of the island. While M.U.C sees the Shepherds as terrorists and trade a lot with other nations in exchange for things to help them with the war, sometimes trading to much causing people within M.U.C's own territories to suffer shortages as a result of the mass trading. Because of this, many nations outside the island often side with M.U.C, since they get good trading deals with them. For M.U.C or the Shepherds having contact with the stripes or the Purps, the Shepherds dont really ever fight or talk with both of them. This is because the shepherds use all their resources in fighting M.U.C and can't tackle fighting crime in many of their territories. While M.U.C is extremely hostile to any crime or mafia activity within their territories, with M.U.C often sending personnel to disrupt illegal trade routes the Purps set up or take out bases where the Purps operate. The two Mafia protagonists were part of a diffrent mafia that has conflict with the Purps before the events of this episode, which I am working on the episode that takes place before this one to show more of the mafia they worked with. But basically, at the time this episode takes place they are mercenaries hired by the group at the end to get the briefcase, later getting betrayed by the group at the end, more of the group's past relationship with the Mafia protagonists will also be explored more in the episode I’m working on.

For the first question, yup! After M.U.C took over the island from an unknown faction that used to own all of the island, with the Shepherds not existing yet and even existed before M.U.C was created. After M.U.C takes out this unknown faction and takes all of the island, a little after a rebellion against M.U.C pops up, which are the shepherds which combined forces with the remnants of the unknown faction’s military. The Unknown faction will be shown more in future installments showing both the creation of M.U.C and the Shepherds. For the second question, M.U.C was formed from multiple private military companies combining to into one army. A wealthy businessman leading this effort, which is now the leader of M.U.C. His story will be more explored in later installments. For the third question, only if the Shepherds interfere with their trade routes or the mafia factions making profit. But otherwise, they will stay out of each other’s ways. For the fourth question, In the beginning of the Shepherds faction they got most of their guns and vehicles when they rebelled from M.U.C, stealing them from M.U.C military storage buildings where they rebelled. Later on in the war, using the few factories they took from M.U.C to make tanks of their own, though, M.U.C’s production of tanks is faster and produce better tanks overall than the Shepherds. The Shepherds also get most of their manpower from territories they own, the land they control also having the most food on the island. M.U.C on the other hand has little food production of its own on its side of the island, which mainly means it has to import food from other nations at exetreme prices of money or resources. For fighting population, the shepherds would have around 60% of manpower, where M.U.C has around 32%, and all of the mafia factions in total are 8%. Since on the far eastern coastlines where the Shepherds control has a lot more population than the western coastline where M.U.C controls. Though M.U.C makes up for the manpower diffrence with its technolgy and heavy armored vehicles. For the Purps, they will counterattack if other mafia factions attack, but if it is M.U.C attacking they will most likely try to evacuate as much of their product or profit as possible to stop it from getting taken by M.U.C and not fight head on. Since most of their combat vehicles are cars attached with different types of weaponry. If the Purps were to counterattack M.U.C it would result in extreme losses for the Purps. For M.U.C’s trading, they usually trade with money or any natural resource, rare, or not, that’s valuable on the island except for food for a very cheap price. In turn M.U.C would usually get military equipment and food from other nations. Desipite them getting food from trade deals, M.U.C has still suffered shortages of food, since the price of this food being so high. This is because the other nations know M.U.C will pay very high prices for food since M.U.C's own production of food is very poor. Driving one of the main goals of the stratagy for M.U.C, to capture heavy food production areas on the Shepherd's side of the island. So it doesn't have to rely so much on the heavy pricing of food to be able to keep up it's country.

But if purps or stripes can't evacuate and the M.U.C surrounded them aka blocking escape routes, do they suceed in their last stand against the M.U.C sometimes? and not to mention, I assume M.U.C launch surprise attacks so I doubt they could make the tactical retreat. At most they retreat with heavy casualties. like is it a 1/5 chance of success in escaping or surviving the last stand against M.U.C? That's if M.U.C doesn't give them any chance of retreating. where the shephards get the metal to build their new vehicles? Do they have a proper tank and aircraft they reserve for future use? What if the mafia factions happen to be in the crossfire between Shephards and M.U.C somehow. Like if the Purps for example, got into the warzone in the middle of their trade route and once again there's no chance of escaping, will they kill all of them or team up with the shephards? like will the mafias like the Purps and Stripes have a temporary truce with Shepahrds under the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" decision? Cause I would think the mafia at least the Purps would hate the M.U.C more than the rebel faction and would use dirty tactics to use the Shephards as cannon fodder. so is there a rare chance of unexpected teamwork with mafias and the rebels to take on their common enemy and part ways since they could live to see another day due to teamwork? If Shephards were to destroy or push M.U.C out of their country and after they rebuilt their economy and infrastructure from the Civil War, I guess it will be their turn to eliminate the mafia factions? I assume shephards let the mafia members live and arrest them so that they could be put in jail? I meant like after the Civil War and they win, they won't be as brutal and cruel like how the M.U.C operates, right? and if M.U.C was formed by multiple companies, then how come they are all ok to take over the country by force and take out the original government and military? and how are the said companies ok with killing the rebels and the citizens who were the original inhabitants of the island? And how are the other nations not suspect that the M.U.C are possibly corrupt and may be evil? like sure they got very good trade deals but why there isn't scrutiny and the legitimatcy of their intentions? what kind of materials the M.U.C find that's worth of trade. Like the very rare and good value?

Mercenaries or military soldiers "borrowed" under a false pretense that they are fighting for a good cause? will you show the the unit and vehicle types in the community posts or something? I assume M.U.C has an armored "juggernaut" type unit (the one with grey armor and AA12 like shotgun), the (assassins?) with red eye piece, the standard armored henchmen (with face armor) and captains? these elite units of M.U.C how much training and resources are spent into making these classes? did those M.U.C units have teleport or "dash" type of device? because there's a loud noise when he moves and he gets over to the other side over the collapse roof in the apartment. and do the Shephards have their own elite units other than their commanders and captains? and do the Shepahrds gas mask mean anything? like do thw gas mask represent their "elite" statue or moderately trained soldier compared to their fellow men? or is the gas mask just randomly given out to anyone for poisonous gas?

With M.U.C being a more of a dictatorship with good technology and depending more on armor vehicles in their tactics. While the Shepherds are an insurgency also being a dictatorship and are more under equipped and rely on tactics involving manpower or fast and light armored vehicles more frequently. The Shepherds would view the war as taking back there lands and depending on there own resources on the island to make things, with rarely trading with other countries outside of the island. While M.U.C sees the Shepherds as terrorists and trade a lot with other nations in exchange for things to help them with the war, sometimes trading to much causing people within M.U.C's own territories to suffer shortages as a result of the mass trading. Because of this, many nations outside the island often side with M.U.C, since they get good trading deals with them.
For M.U.C or the Shepherds having contact with the stripes or the Purps, the Shepherds dont really ever fight or talk with both of them. This is because the shepherds use all their resources in fighting M.U.C and can't tackle fighting crime in many of their territories. While M.U.C is extremely hostile to any crime or mafia activity within their territories, with M.U.C often sending personnel to disrupt illegal trade routes the Purps set up or take out bases where the Purps operate.
The two Mafia protagonists were part of a diffrent mafia that has conflict with the Purps before the events of this episode, which I am working on the episode that takes place before this one to show more of the mafia they worked with. But basically, at the time this episode takes place they are mercenaries hired by the group at the end to get the briefcase, later getting betrayed by the group at the end, more of the group's past relationship with the Mafia protagonists will also be explored more in the episode I’m working on.

i would take a while guess and say that M.U.C are a much evil, cruel and corrupted faction. Maybe shephards are fighting for a good cause. At least the majority felt they are the good guys. I mean i could see them being underdogs going to cripple the evil dictatorship but how they go about it is immoral like killing unarmed civilians at some point.

For the first question, yup! After M.U.C took over the island from an unknown faction that used to own all of the island, with the Shepherds not existing yet and even existed before M.U.C was created. After M.U.C takes out this unknown faction and takes all of the island, a little after a rebellion against M.U.C pops up, which are the shepherds which combined forces with the remnants of the unknown faction’s military. The Unknown faction will be shown more in future installments showing both the creation of M.U.C and the Shepherds.
For the second question, M.U.C was formed from multiple private military companies combining to into one army. A wealthy businessman leading this effort, which is now the leader of M.U.C. His story will be more explored in later installments.
For the third question, only if the Shepherds interfere with their trade routes or the mafia factions making profit. But otherwise, they will stay out of each other’s ways.
For the fourth question, In the beginning of the Shepherds faction they got most of their guns and vehicles when they rebelled from M.U.C, stealing them from M.U.C military storage buildings where they rebelled. Later on in the war, using the few factories they took from M.U.C to make tanks of their own, though, M.U.C’s production of tanks is faster and produce better tanks overall than the Shepherds. The Shepherds also get most of their manpower from territories they own, the land they control also having the most food on the island. M.U.C on the other hand has little food production of its own on its side of the island, which mainly means it has to import food from other nations at exetreme prices of money or resources.
For fighting population, the shepherds would have around 60% of manpower, where M.U.C has around 32%, and all of the mafia factions in total are 8%. Since on the far eastern coastlines where the Shepherds control has a lot more population than the western coastline where M.U.C controls. Though M.U.C makes up for the manpower diffrence with its technolgy and heavy armored vehicles.
For the Purps, they will counterattack if other mafia factions attack, but if it is M.U.C attacking they will most likely try to evacuate as much of their product or profit as possible to stop it from getting taken by M.U.C and not fight head on. Since most of their combat vehicles are cars attached with different types of weaponry. If the Purps were to counterattack M.U.C it would result in extreme losses for the Purps.
For M.U.C’s trading, they usually trade with money or any natural resource, rare, or not, that’s valuable on the island except for food for a very cheap price. In turn M.U.C would usually get military equipment and food from other nations. Desipite them getting food from trade deals, M.U.C has still suffered shortages of food, since the price of this food being so high. This is because the other nations know M.U.C will pay very high prices for food since M.U.C's own production of food is very poor. Driving one of the main goals of the stratagy for M.U.C, to capture heavy food production areas on the Shepherd's side of the island. So it doesn't have to rely so much on the heavy pricing of food to be able to keep up it's country.

and not to mention, I assume M.U.C launch surprise attacks so I doubt they could make the tactical retreat. At most they retreat with heavy casualties.
like is it a 1/5 chance of success in escaping or surviving the last stand against M.U.C? That's if M.U.C doesn't give them any chance of retreating.
where the shephards get the metal to build their new vehicles? Do they have a proper tank and aircraft they reserve for future use?
What if the mafia factions happen to be in the crossfire between Shephards and M.U.C somehow. Like if the Purps for example, got into the warzone in the middle of their trade route and once again there's no chance of escaping, will they kill all of them or team up with the shephards?
like will the mafias like the Purps and Stripes have a temporary truce with Shepahrds under the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" decision? Cause I would think the mafia at least the Purps would hate the M.U.C more than the rebel faction and would use dirty tactics to use the Shephards as cannon fodder.
so is there a rare chance of unexpected teamwork with mafias and the rebels to take on their common enemy and part ways since they could live to see another day due to teamwork?
If Shephards were to destroy or push M.U.C out of their country and after they rebuilt their economy and infrastructure from the Civil War, I guess it will be their turn to eliminate the mafia factions?
I assume shephards let the mafia members live and arrest them so that they could be put in jail? I meant like after the Civil War and they win, they won't be as brutal and cruel like how the M.U.C operates, right?

I assume M.U.C has an armored "juggernaut" type unit (the one with grey armor and AA12 like shotgun), the (assassins?) with red eye piece, the standard armored henchmen (with face armor) and captains?

did those M.U.C units have teleport or "dash" type of device? because there's a loud noise when he moves and he gets over to the other side over the collapse roof in the apartment.

and do the Shepahrds gas mask mean anything? like do thw gas mask represent their "elite" statue or moderately trained soldier compared to their fellow men?
