Think this must be the noisiest video you have ever done, seemed that way as a headphone user, anyway. One of the strangest maneuver yet of the steam engine its stock and the diesel that I have ever witnessed.. Border television news caught the Scotsman at Weatherall station also. All very enjoyable to watch so once again thanks for your continuing efforts much appreciated. JohnK.
I'm afraid that my expensive editing software has just updated itself and, frankly, I wish they'd left it alone. No doubt with time I'll become more familiar with it and achieve better results but - why mend it if it ain't broke??? Best wishes.
This time Flying Scotsman with one of our most experienced drivers no slipping getting the stock out, I bet the station was packed so a good idea to try another spot. I was thinking the band came back but it is another one who got lucky on a no strike day. Blue Pullman HST looking lovely as usual.
I would have loved to have got FS on the viaduct at Wetheral using the drone but the wind was far too strong for safety. Another time perhaps. The Pullman always looks good and films well. Best wishes.
Aha I was a passenger on FS and saw you filming around the station it's lovely to see what was happening while we were off the train! I can confirm the dual heating is very effective it was like a sauna at some points 😂
What's Up! can't the rail operator afford the weed killer for the weed killing trains, track work is an absolute disgrace in Carlisle Station 😞, they must have seen my message lol 😂 4:52
It's not a pretty sight, is it? I fear the spraying trains are not allowed to spray within stations - health and safety! - and this station is far too busy to permit workers accessing the track to do the job by hand.
Your videos are always so good to watch tim even more so with the flying scotsman regards kevin 😊
Thanks Kevin - it's good to know that you enjoy them. Keep watching and best wishes to you.
Nice to see the green 66 and flying Scotsman
The 66 was a new catch for me - but FS is an old friend at Carlisle. Best wishes.
Sunny all day Tim, heart that one before, very nice to see F/s again at the Citadel
Yes - if I believed in the weathermen I'd probably believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy too! Best wishes.
I was a passenger on the Flying Scotsman for the first time ever in my life that day as well and what an experience it was!
Well now - that's one trip that I've not taken so lucky you - glad you enjoyed it! Best wishes.
Another Quality Video Tim
Thanks John. Long time no see - hope you're keeping well.

Good footage Tim of the Scot and blue streak. I thought it was a engine running till you said it was rain on the roof. Nice shot at Wetheral.👍
Thanks David. That rain was sudden, totally unexpected and very heavy - but fortunately cleared up as quickly as it arrived.

Sounds like you had a good day. A shame that the weather turned against you at Carlisle but I'm sure the rest of the day made up for it. Best wishes.
Looking how Scotsman survived that heavy shunt, it makes me wonder how the previous owner (Marchington) did so much damage to the loco.
Let's just hope for an untroubled future. Best wishes to both 60103 and yourself.
You should have put a request in with the band for ‘raindrops keep falling on my head’…☔️
Now why didn't I think of that?
At least they didnt squash any coaches this time
- and all the wine bottles survived intact!
