This show was so flipping amazing. Omg it was cinematically gorgeous, so engaging, incredible actors. I legit was too scared to leave my bed, then also crying for for Nathan Appleby. Just marvelous. Wish I came upon it sooner, and really really wish there was a season 2. I’d honestly pay to read the script for season 2, or maybe a book. Gosh it was so bloody good.
It had some real strengths. I'm not sure the modern day storyline worked though it felt sort of tacked on. The final episode is all about this new character we've never really met when all the audience wanted was to get back to the 1890s to find up what was happening there.
Just finished watching The Living and the Death. Colin Morgan's interpretation of Nathan is brilliant. I wish BBC went for a second season. Do they know that this was a gem ? I wish Colin Morgan the best. We love you Colin.
I don't care what Colin Morgan is in his acting draws you in and the character is totally believable. He is a great actor. I have seen him in several rolls. The Fall, Humans, Merlin and more. Looking forward to see what comes next.
It kinda tripped me up when they said how much fun they had on set. Cuz I DID NOT have fun watching it. Gave me chills the whole way... But it was still a pretty good show
