Great Video Man ! I love seeing the old 1997 Ford Mustang. I remember you taking me for a spin in that car when I was 13 years old and listening to "Rage Against The Machine" - Bombtrack. You have taken extremely good care of that car and I hope you never sell it. I really like your channel and the Six Gear Garage is definitely a rising star. I predict in one year from now you will have 100,000 subscribers. The only way is "UP" and you can't lose. Thanks for being the first subscriber to my channel. I have some entertainment lined up
Thanks! And absolutely a good time! I remember the time we spun out on that divided highway... I about shit myself haha. I never thought I'd be doing this full time, but it's fun and challenging at the same time. Looking forward to seeing some more of your content!
Since you were using pharmaceutical IPA wipes they are likely 70% IPA/Filler because that is the optimal concentration for disinfection - but what is the 30% filler - it's whatever was left as your haze on the car. What exactly the filler is depends on the manufacturer of the IPA. For cleaning purposes, you should get the highest concentration IPA you can get which is probably ~90% ish from your local pharmacy. It comes in bottles or even a spray bottle. Just use that with a clean microfiber. If it leaves anything behind then its not 'pure' enough and follow up with some kind of prep spray or w/e cleaner of your choice that doesn't leave behind a residue.
Sorry to say you used way too much product. You only need a few drops per section don saturate the cloth on the block. Watching other videos by pro detailers you used a whole bottle on one application one car. You should get two layers from one bottle on one car. You need to use a less expensive product like Cerakote new ceramic coating spray $20 Or Amazon prime new Auto can Ceramic which works just like Avalon King Armor Shield XI. $20
It may have been too warm to apply, because when I used less product, it flashed too quickly. I had to use more to allow more time to apply. Next time I will try applying less, on a cooler day. BTW, on their website, Avalon King says one bottle is enough for 1 layer on a mid-size car, not including wheels, glass, or plastic trim.
No disrespect, but if you love your car don't use dish detergent to wash your car. It's really abrasive. Definitely isn't good on your paint. Use dedicated car wash soaps
We have a 2 year warranty on our product and the vast majority of our customers will testify to that! It is a DIY product so results will vary based on prep, environment and certainly how well the coating is maintained.
@@6thGearGarage No. Lol. It lasts way longer than that. The only reason it would last 6 months is not properly prepping, applying, and letting it cure.
Shit it’s still going strong on my wife’s car after 1.5 -2 years but hers is garage parked but my truck is out in the environments everyday and still going strong applied same time I did my wife’s car. I loved it so much I order a 3 pack when they had that sale

Hey so did those ipa marks come off when you used the ceramic coating?
no they did not
great vid is there a interior ceramic spray for iterior
I'm not sure if there is or not, since it doesn't see the same weather/UV that the exterior does.
@@6thGearGarage My 2 140 lb Mastiffs make some hell off mess😂
@@vincentmurphy9252 wow, definitely worse than my two kids!
Any update yet?
Sorry not yet, I still have the car in storage... I'm way behind schedule!
I did my car and truck with one bottle.
That's good coverage!
You wash your car with Dish soap ?? Hmm 🤔
It strips any remaining wax, perfect before paint correction.

It's enough but doesn't mean use it all@@6thGearGarage

I normally use car wash soap, but I use the dish soap before paint correction to strip any remaining wax from the surface.
Same stuff
It only lasts 6 months.😖
Oh really? that's no good :(
