Agree with u that Proctor John was underutilized and could have been a great villian after the dam. The motorcycle gang type villan near the Mexican border is realistic and they could have done alot more there. I loved that trading post stadium place, can believe that going on in this world. U can buy or trade anything there and I can see the proctors really doing something like that. I like to think they are still out there looking for our group for vengence.
I understand revenge could be a very common human trait, but let’s be fair dude pettiness is also a human trait that’s common but Proctor John let’s be fair. He’s the definition of a businessman and he wants his business to prosper and he’s not gonna let one bad set up, prevent him from continuing to do business besides going after the groupwould probably cost him a lot more than control over the regions supply from a particular river so I’m guessing he forgot about them because he realized how small they were and realized there was bigger fish fry then just revenge
Proctor.John was the villain we deserved for season 4. They said the Proctors were once a small SoCal MC that were expanding into Texas after the world ended. They also had that whole Sons of Anarchy breaking bad vibe. It makes sense that the gangs would take over as it was “the lawless world they’ve been waiting for.” The Mexican gangsters had already taken over where they fled from.
FTWD before s4 always had this style where they introduce side characters and when our main case leave them, we never hear from them again. For example, Tobias from LA, Jack from Connor's group that we met when we were in the Abigail, Elena from the hotel, the survivors from Luciana group, quelataca (Walker) & crazy dog from the ranch, and so on. Because s4 basically changed this show for the worse, I don't believe we'll ever see Procter John again, even though he isn't confirmed dead.
Yeah, it could have been a great season 4. Imagine we had Qaletaqa Walker, Lee/Crazy Dog, Proctor John & Althea along with her cameraman in season 4A. And then the group reaches Texas in season 4B and we had Abraham Ford & Eugene Porter in season 4. That would have been amazing !!.
Seeing this just reminded that I haven't even finished watching season 5 yet. I started but dozed off through most of the 1st 6 episodes. The show really became jarring but I guess I'll try to finish it before the new season starts.
The Saviors were like the modern day (or post-apocalyptic) version of a medieval/feudal Lord's. While, The Proctor's reminded me of the warlords/cartels you'd find in third world countries.

Hey guys this brings up a good point here. And you can definitely see the difference between proctor John and Negan. Not to mention the actor does such a good job in the roles he plays. His character had tons of potential. That would be cool if he comes back bigger and stronger
Season 3 was a tremendous step up for FTWD. I was fully invested at that point. Troy was becoming a favourite. Madison, and company had grown on me. I would've definitely preferred a continuation of Season 3 year instead of a time jump. I didn't even finish the first episode of the fourth season. Just couldn't.
Proctor John was a really interesting villain in season 3 and S3 was really great! Despite having Morgan crossing over and new characters On S4, they completely changed everything and forgets the S3 story and Proctor John villain to make a brand new story about Morgan by killing off Madison on her Fourth season. After season 5, fans are starting to stop watching, even after the finale of S5. I might be one of them. I’m starting to see why fans blame Scott Gimple but I will still keep my hopes until the first S6 trailer. There are a lot of things I see for Fear that will keep my hopes up until S6. The actor of Daniel says he expects to hear what happened at the dam in S6. There’s a theory saying Madison will save Morgan. I think the father of graces child would be Proctor John which would probably mean he will return. The two showrunners seem to be avoiding questions of killing off Madison and keeping quiet of S6 saying fans will have to wait and see. I was believing that the whole point of making Fear TWD about Morgan is for the fans who only watch the original show and during season 4 and 5 Fear characters talk about their past so much, original walking dead fans might want to look back at Season 1-3 to see what they mean. The show runners say there will be changes but I have the feeling the “changes” won’t satisfy the fans because i don’t think it means stop trying to help people change and just do some action like S3 did instead. Though we did see Victor Strand plan do something like he used to do in S3 so maybe we will be satisfied. I like to believe that season 6 will finally go back to what happened in S3 and the the story with Proctor John will continue and Madison will come back because they never showed her body. There was a picture of Kim Dickens with the old cast crew and the actor of Troy so maybe that was a short tease for season 6. And that would also mean that people saying Troy will return but never did because he is going to return in S6.

Thank you for posting this video. I also wondered what happened to the Proctor's. I think it's safe to assume that they either died in the dam explosion since you see many corpses floating in the river when Madison swims or Daniel Salazar kills them as revenge for the Water Queen's death. Also Daniel Salazar tells Alycia when he first sees her this past season that even he wants to know what happened to them, but will never know.. I'm not sure if that was like an inside joke for the FTD universe directed at the new showrunners and SG. However, Proctor John did say there were over a dozen brothers dead floating in the water that they planned to distribute with Victor Strand. There is a video timeline out there that says the dam explosion happened around the same time the CDC exploded in Atlanta in TWD. Why is it important, because it means it is way early in the apocalypse and that Madison and the gang were much more experienced at the time then what was happening with Rick, Shane, and the Atlanta survivors. Also Proctor John was in delicate condition and there is also another chance that he could have turned into a Walker if he underwent another back surgery or got sick as Alycia was no longer able to nurse him. So many questions would have even made a great mini series movie and lead up to Morgan joining the show, because as we know Morgan at that time of the dam explosion is still in Atlanta. That means lots of time has past between the events of the damn exploding and Madison finding the baseball stadium. That's why there is a big gap missing. But maybe Althea's tapes could reveal what happened to them, as we are still waiting for the Rosita, Abraham and Eugene tape.. The problem is the tapes are gone as Logan only knows what happened to them and now he's dead too.. So many questions.. too many answer to quote the Riddler.. Keep up the great videos.. .

That's probably the best group of villains ever encountered in whole TWD franchise in my opinion of course,the proctors were bad people in past (drug dealers,warlords etc...). But they made deal with strand before the events of Madison and Taka arriving in El Bazar. Strand owed them something so they put him in front of gates to defend gates with chains on his legs...remember that? I think personally that Ginny doesn't have any connection to Proctors because she feels like there is no humanity left in her,Proctor John was a badass but also had humanity. I hope he returns one day!
Mario III Proctor John was a competent leader of a network of bases. He never would stoop so low to monologue about helping people or making the world a better place. Proctor John was ready to kill everyone at the dam when Strands plan failed.
I definitely got the impression they were being set up as the focus of season 4. Such a disappointment that they abandoned that story and all the other threads from season 3. I hate to dwell on the negative but I have so many questions as to how that went down behind the scenes. With that said, I'll never be a hater, but I think season 6 is gonna be important for the like health of the show.

I hate what happened to FTWD I really enjoyed the show and it seemed like it was heading into a great direction after the dam explosion. Proctor John/The Proctors could have been season 4's villain with Madison and the group heading to Texas to find them and rescue Alicia but no they had to completely ruin the show by ignoring the first 3 seasons plot and having a time skip so they could introduce Morgan. A character that (as far as I know) no one really cared for in the main series like they could have killed him off in a random episode and almost nobody would have cared yet for some reason they decided to ruin a show that had great potential so he could appear what a joke.
The showrunner was fired from AMC after season 3 for some stupid reason(probably money and AMC being greedy) But the showrunner was going to have Nick's death at the end of season 3 (because Nick's actor wanted off the show) and the showrunner also planned to continue the story of proctor John in season 4 but instead we got Morgan and friends walking around aimlessly for 2 seasons The same thing happened with the original walking dead show after season 1 This is why both shows dropped significantly in quality

Even though they keep on going on the same trail of failure, not the main characters but, the villians. Proctor John would of been a better choice than that boring lady character. @@NocBroNation I looked into it and the character was called Diana, I remember she helped alicia after she was jumped in a pool pit in a restaurant and then later there car together was rammed off the road by bandits. After alicia was taken by Proctor and his crew. She just disappeared. Just very strange cos they really seemed like they were setting up a whole story arc with these characters..another detail was her main weapon being a pick axe.

He’s either still doing business in Mexico or trying to expand in Mexico still his trading post businesses or either here’s a thing I might want to happen the proctors coming over to dead city and becoming real threats in The Walking Dead finally so they’re not wasting away in the unknown status and fear The Walking Dead, who made them sucky villains I like to see Proctor, John and Negan fight it out too strong leaders fighting over power plus, I’m guessing the proctors would also serve a similar faction of individuals that would want to take over Manhattan for the natural resources alongside Babylon and maybe other civilization base settlements

This season was the best season of the walking dead. I really what this feeling back of the show. Madison, and the native American character. Sorry i didn't remember there names. But the show was really good then. Now alot of stupid stuff is going on. Hot air balloon beer floats, flying a plane, ect. I want the serious back.
Season 3 by far was the best season ! As a person who’s watched this show from the start . It was so hard to watch last half of season 5 and a shame. Yeah in fear we got a chaotic border, a burnt west coast, the ocean was like sea of thieves, Tijuana is basically a warzone, a big ass trading post with hundreds of people in it, and waaaaay more cool locations. While in twd we got a random forest that sometimes spawns new villains lmao
Honestly never cared about proctor John and the other proctors. It just felt like the proctors were shoehorned into the last few episodes to make a big finale. He just felt like a discount negan but less scary. Plus hated the unrealistic spine surgery.
Blind Entertainment They were somewhat different from Negan though and they had potential. They were being stop as the antagonists for season 4. I thought they were cool. They were better than trash lady and the season 5 villains.

After alicia was taken by Proctor and his crew. She just disappeared. Just very strange cos they really seemed like they were setting up a whole story arc with these characters..another detail was her main weapon being a pick axe.

They forgot about Proctor John. This show sucks!
Proctor John was better than any villain from seasons 4 and 5. FTWD died when it was rebooted. Characters like Qaletaqa are lucky because they got to bounce before the show went to shit.

Hopefully we see Proctor John along with Taqa and Crazy Dog in Season 8 of FTWD
He’s either still doing business in Mexico or trying to expand in Mexico still his trading post businesses or either here’s a thing I might want to happen the proctors coming over to dead city and becoming real threats in The Walking Dead finally so they’re not wasting away in the unknown status and fear The Walking Dead, who made them sucky villains I like to see Proctor, John and Negan fight it out too strong leaders fighting over power plus, I’m guessing the proctors would also serve a similar faction of individuals that would want to take over Manhattan for the natural resources alongside Babylon and maybe other civilization base settlements
Now that you mention it... maybe, Ginny is the public face of The Proctor's. If you first encounter Proctor John or his men, you know you're in trouble... she's a little less intimidating... more agreeable.

This season was the best season of the walking dead. I really what this feeling back of the show. Madison, and the native American character. Sorry i didn't remember there names. But the show was really good then. Now alot of stupid stuff is going on. Hot air balloon beer floats, flying a plane, ect. I want the serious back.
Season 3 by far was the best season ! As a person who’s watched this show from the start . It was so hard to watch last half of season 5 and a shame. I thought the two show runners did a good job with the first half of season 4 and it’s been all down hill since. Smh they really fucked up this show big time !

Yeah in fear we got a chaotic border, a burnt west coast, the ocean was like sea of thieves, Tijuana is basically a warzone, a big ass trading post with hundreds of people in it, and waaaaay more cool locations.
While in twd we got a random forest that sometimes spawns new villains lmao
Honestly never cared about proctor John and the other proctors. It just felt like the proctors were shoehorned into the last few episodes to make a big finale. He just felt like a discount negan but less scary. Plus hated the unrealistic spine surgery.
Blind Entertainment They were somewhat different from Negan though and they had potential. They were being stop as the antagonists for season 4. I thought they were cool. They were better than trash lady and the season 5 villains.
Season 4 is when Gimple and his gay sidekicks took over
If Proctor John survived the water he probable contracted an infection in the water and died. Remember he just had back surgery
That show was as good if not better than walking dead after that season straigt garbage
But for the most I like the show but the walking dead with our people is 100 percent better than this.
