this some good insight, always wondered how u uploaded games. everyone i watched just talked about but didn't show it. anyways good luck with ur launch see ya in the next video.
Wish listed! And we do care! 😊 months ago when you started to talk about the last Phoenix i showed it to my friend and tried to find your steam page, but couldn't find it. So glad you got a page up now! This is going to be big .. and.. This video is 100% DEV LIFE 🤙 approved!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
I just finished setuping my steam page yesterday, I wish you made that video a couple weeks ago haha. It's not public yet, cause I am working on a trailer as you're saying, but I don't need to do much more than editing, so I think it's worth the wait.
Wow!! Uploaded only 20 hours, literally perfect timing! I'm doing this same thing right now, and this was the exact kind of video I was looking for, short and simple. Btw no one really talks about it, but for me personally i couldn't do anything until my onboarding process was done, which for me meant after I paid the $100 fee I had to wait over the weekend, and reply to their tax email, to be approved until I was able to finally see the "create app" button
@ hmm I live in the USA too. Yeah not sure why it made me do that extra stuff, but my dashboard definitely didn’t show anything besides the pending onboarding section. Happy that all is good now though
@@PeterMilko I'm a bit confused, I made it through all the page setup tabs and clicked the publish tab, where it only says "This application has not yet been published to all users. Once public, you will be able to release incremental updates without contacting Valve". but there was no button to click publish. Does this just happen on it's own and I now wait? I don't see the "Mark as ready for review" as the documentation states
I'm not a game dev but as a long time lurker of steam i have a couple criticisms if you're interested. First is that there is two grammatical errors in the first sentence of the description which as a potential buyer learning about the game makes it harder to read. You say felix posses, it should be possesses. It also says that it possesses "a" demonic power of reincarnation, implying that there is multiple reincarnation powers, it should probably be "the power" if thats what you meant. Also i might just remove the demon part because i dont get what the difference is between demonic reincarnation and regular. The other thing is its really hard to tell what the game is about? The description should probably have some sentence, preferably the first or most apparent sentence being a short summary of gameplay. Like i dont really know what you mean by "a demonic power of reincarnation" but if i had to guess (most buyers wont bother trying to figure it out) its a game with high replayability where continually try to get different endings through different reincarnations? The description (and preferably the name and pictures) should make it obvious what the gameplay is like. Lastly, this is more subjective but the art looks kind of like nsfw art and its slightly offputting. Wishlisting your game and excited to see when it comes out!
"The sooner you put up a Steam page, the more successful your game will be." Then Silksong should be the most successful game in history- once it's released, that is.

It really is counterintuitive.
I checked it out and wishlisted. I'm curious what the demo will be like :)

Yeah a trailer can take a long time. I need to make more content to record for the trailer.
Good luck with your game ❤
Thanks, I hope you enjoy it :)
Very informative! I'll have to keep this in mind for the future
Thanks for commenting. I will keep making videos about the reprocess.

I live in USA and it was simple for me but out of the country onboarding can be a challenge.

Steam page? For the Last Phoenix? Christmas came early!
I hope to release a free steam demo by the end of the year! :)

Thanks for the feedback, I made the changes. The gameplay is platforming. Every time you die you are reincarnated. Enemies will remember killing you.
I love your pixel art Milko 😊❤😊
