On one hand, I can see why they were cut: these dialogues are mostly generic and... subdued? I don't know how to explain. But on the other, adding these to the game doesn't feel like that much work, if you did it with the original game. And they have enough personality and easter eggs in them to warrant inclusion.

I've heard it's because they thought it was creepy for the male protag to make his female teammates wear incredibly skimpy outfits, which is understandable, but that might also just be conjecture. Either way, it's kind of a shame. I do like the characterization it adds.

His Catherine costume is the Boss, Thomas Mutton AKA Dumuzid who instigated the nightmare. His If... costume is Hazama, the main villain from the game. And even though it's a generic costume, his Persona 2 costume is the uniform of Kasugayama High, one of the two main high schools featured in the game... but is a reform school for juvenile delinquents. He's the only character in the team to wear a costume from that school. Subtle hints from the developers as to his true nature... or Joker being a trolling bastard?
If you need more clarification, he has Jun's outfit from that game. Jun plays the role of... Joker... for the first half of the game. Honestly the consistent gay remarks and the fact that he's envious of Joker makes me think he's very much based off of Jun from P2: IS. Jun was the original Joker.

@@DashieFan5 If you read the description it says the dialogue was added (unused) in royal, however in the video he used a mod for the vanilla ps3 version that restores the dialogue from royal, there's no royal costumes because at the time of this video there was no mod to add the royal costumes to the ps3 version.
Why would they take the time to make these and then leave them out? I mean they had costume dialogue in Golden so why not here? I just don't understand
