My mum was dying in hospital, the nurses said you can play songs and hold her hand. I played this song on my phone, to her with all the family around, it was a special moment for me.

This song played as I said my final goodbyes to my nana a month ago. She married my grandad at 16 and till her dying day she adored him as he did her. His blue eyes would twinkle everytime he looked at his wife of 53 wonderful years. He lost his love and he lost the twinkle in his eyes on the 3/4/15. Sleep tight my beautiful nana, I'll love you for all eternity ❤️

I sang this to my Mum who was so poorly. She was Irish & sang back bits to me. Even though she was so ill in a care home & I miss her every day of my life 😢

They don't produce gems like this anymore, this kind of genius is a thing of the past but will live on forever.

My favorite Irish group of all time. No politics just pure lyrical, musical and vocal talent. Sometimes rough often thought provoking, but always enjoyable.

My parents met at 16 and 17years old on Chorlton Green before WW2. They married after the war and my father worshipped her all his life. I first heard this song 198something. It broke my heart and still does.
