Welcome back to Albania and thank you so much for making the wonderful videos. It’s really emotional for me to watch your videos since I live abroad since from 1997 so as you can imagine I miss my country and our culture and our food. Sending love to you guys ❤️🇦🇱
Tirana is one of the most beautiful tourist cities in Albania. It is the capital and the area where tourists start their journey to explore Albania. Tirana has a range of tourist attractions that make the city famous for tourism. It has a mild climate and a pleasant atmosphere.
Thank you guys for the video. I went to Oda restaurant when I was in Tirana and I sat at the same place where you were sitting. I liked the place but it was a little bit difficult to find because the entrance was not in the main street. Ironically it happened to be opposite the building where I satyed, in a cozy appartment that had everything one would need (I only paid 100 euros for 4 nights). Everything you mentioned in your videos about Tirana is 100% true. A great city with extremely nice and helpful people.
We aren’t going to Albania until November, 2023, but I’m taking notes and I appreciate your great channel. I can hardly wait to try these restaurants and enjoy the friendliness and the food. Thanks.
Some of my favourite amazing 🇦🇱 Albanian dishes: Tavë mishi, fërgesë, byrek, pispili, tarator, flija, petulla, speca të mbushura, tavë kosi, perime në zgarë, peshk në zgarë, trilece, kashkavall në furrë me domate, fasule me pilaf, qofte, dollma japrak, qifqi, gjel deti me përshesh, patëllxhanë të mbushur, ballokume.
@@TwoMadExplorers I never found any Albanian restaurants that had good Albanian food in Tirana. I did find a few outside the city a few years ago, of course I did not write the names down. There are some good Italian and fish restaurants on the other side of the stadium that I eat in about a year ago. If you walk down Sulejman Delvina Street from President Wilson Sq. ( USA) toward the stadium, I think you could find them off of Komuna e Parisit. There is a small street behind the stadium called Emin Duraku I think thats it anyway , there is a small fish store that has a small dinning room. Cheap, fresh fish in from the coast daily. Ismet Sheju is a good place a little drive north of Tirana, Mrizi i Zanave in Lezhe is good but you need a car. I would try asking the locals for a good place to eat outside the center away from the tourist. You don't have to go to far out of the center. I personally like the mountain villages for fresh lamb or keci
Bon appetit ! I suggest you to do a home visit food traditional in Albania (going to family guests you and you try smth that Albanians will prepare to host you for lunch or dinner etc ) in different villages from north to south ! Albanians will host you so try this option so people understand how good food are prepared from our mothers and wife’s and as well Albanians man and fathers ! Call it, “host as guest in an Albanian village “ - free of charge ! So who hosts you and you pay 0€ !! Enjoy Albania food is amazing
the map shows the territories which were populated by Albanians, ie not an Albanian state but territories populated by Albanians. The same thing happened with the Hungarians, who have many territories that were supposed to be Hungarian territories but due to the different policies of that time those territories failed to be in a single state but divided into several states.
the folder shows what it looked like in albania in 1881 now not even half of the country was divided by great powers into new states of former yugoslavia and some into greece

You guys nail our food. Can't wait to see more videos of your impressions for our food.
