sure seemed like it! by the way you should make more videos of you and look num no computer recording together. the ones you did for rotopops are amazing! my favorite contents of yours.
I would love to see the both of you set loose in Swiss Museum and Centre for Electronic Music Instruments (SMEM) in Fribourg. I would pay to watch that! Maybe set up some sort of crowd funding to get you guys there?
The bit on the clavioline immediately perked my ears because it sounded very close to "Telstar" by The Tornados. According to Wikipedia, the instrument used on that song was either a clavioline or a Jennings Univox, so there's no wonder it reminded me of that. What a great collaboration you guys had going!
Lovely seeing this ! I literally walked into the end of this video making process and it's so cool to see what else you guys got into. Great to meet you in Berlin David. Hope to cross paths again. Maybe in Berlin :)
I feel like I am saving SO much time by watching a David Hilowitz AND HAINBACH two-fer. Squeeze in some Nick Batt next time and we'll get the "Costanza Triumvirate" (the episode where he watches TV-sports, eats a sandwich and has sex)....I am missing the obligatory "Hi...I'm Hainbach". ps:: hoping to get some Decent Samples from your visit. I have a box of 9vlts to trade.
Idiggit! Love the fact you could connect with HB and make music together. He seems friendly. Would be fun to see some plugin or app with your take on his gear, maybe collaboration on some sound tool/sample app/plugin.
i literally have tones of old generators, i have HP brand, Eico, and heathkit's... never thought someone would be making music with such vintage test equipment. Should I list them on eBay or something?
Congrats on the best pronunciation of "Hainbach" I've ever heard from anyone who isn't a native German speaker! Your "a" is still a bit far back, but not even by much :)
It's sort of ironic that very few of these instruments had any collectable value until people started making videos about instrument collecting. The Sonica is a perfect example.
That theme at the end sounds a lot like this jingle at the end of a brian david gilbert video th-cam.com/video/NbJbCILXrX0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Ny4g08Bf6Kh39GE6
2 of my favorite youtubers collab. Nothing cant go wrong ♥️ we need look mom no computer and red means recording too! It would be super cool to see what you can do together.
I love seeing you making music with someone else. Its just one of those extremely human experiences that is one of those things that would fall under the category of "living".
David, your enthusiasm and presence is inspiring and delightful. It's so wonderful to see two of my favourite TH-camrs in the same video. I would love to see more of this!
Was lovely hanging out, see you soon!
sure seemed like it! by the way you should make more videos of you and look num no computer recording together. the ones you did for rotopops are amazing! my favorite contents of yours.
hope i get to meet you one day @Hainbach your a legend!!
What a wonderful artistic collaboration. Thankyou for the beautiful music, Hainbach and David!

great collab, look forward to seeing and hearing more, encore...
You have no idea how long I've been waiting for a deeply sampled Clavioline. Like a decade at least at this point.
Great video, David - thank you!

8:19 + Gave me Lord of the rings wibe.... just beautiful!!
Great! At around 3:12 when you start playing your melody, I caught a wave of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, early 80s. Are you a fan?
huge fan!
This is one of the greatest collabs ever
"unfortunately we didn't have any 9 volt batteries on hand..." 😆
Isn't this always the way 🤣
This is a potent pairing.
The other famous Clavioline song is Runaway by Del Shannon
Lovely seeing this ! I literally walked into the end of this video making process and it's so cool to see what else you guys got into. Great to meet you in Berlin David. Hope to cross paths again. Maybe in Berlin :)
Wow! This is nuts. I can't wait til you guys make another video together.
Hainbach is Berlin personified.
Now we need a performance from the trio of yourself, Hainbach and Sam from "Look Mum, No Computer"!
Yes, do it.
Beautiful! Love seeing you with Hainbach making music. Glorious.
yelled out in excitement when i saw the notification
The dreams come true 🥰🥰🥰
🙌🙌🙌
So cool your lucky to witness the studio❤
I would Love to Hear you two getting together and creating Human Musical Sounds , Hey Thank you :) QC
Hainbach is like a national treasure of Germany. Thanks, David for the video and it was great to see both you and Hainbach together playing.
Watched this twice today...and subbed to Hainbach. Thanks for the reco!
Heinbach is all that is wrong with Berlin personified.
I'm really excited that you are going to be going back to Hainbach's studio! He is an amazing musician and a fantastic collaborator.
The clavioline is famously featured on The Beatles' "Baby You're a Rich Man".
The bit on the clavioline sounded so early omd. Awesome!
That makes sense. I *love* early OMD
@@DavidHilowitzMusic me too buddy :)
I really love the passion you both have for the obscure equipment. Really shows.
“Have you sampled it yet??”
“No.”
Might be my favourite moment.
Is it Hainbach?
First time coming across your channel. Wonderful video, I really like the jam he titled Elegy. Subscribed!
You have a lot of musical chemistry improvising together and I'd love to hear more music when you meet again. :)
I want to hear all of “Elegy” now! The other piece sounds like Kraftwerk’s “Ohm, Sweet Ohm.” Is that the same machine that the band used? Peace.
DREAM crossover! I can't wait for more content of you two! My nerdy self is geeking out so much rn
LOVE seeing hainbach! He's about 200 times the equipment nerd that I am, but I DO get it! Cheers!
Sounds like the start of a lofi supergroup, add Sam Battle & Cuckoo and hey presto.
It's sort of ironic that very few of these instruments had any collectable value until people started making videos about instrument collecting. The Sonica is a perfect example.
Woooow so nice that you guys met in Berlin!! Fantastic collab, hope you'll visit again soon! :)
Someone send that man 12- 9 VOlt Batteries from Amazon!😆
They all know each other 😂 it's like a poor man's Mozart x Chopin crossover
It's so nice to make music with friends. :') thank you for this video.
Congrats, you made the best Hainbach video!
I'd really love to to see you experiment with that sonica a bit more and maybe make a sample library out of it!
Maybe the real decent samplers are the friends we made along the way...
Id love to be in the room an listen to you both jam! Since we are dreaming, lets throw in Ned Lagin too :)
Rooms full of esoteric sound generators, but no spare 9v battery... That's all I need to know :D
That theme at the end sounds a lot like this jingle at the end of a brian david gilbert video

I love ‘Elegy’, Have you released it anywhere?
Looking fwd to the next visit
new inspiration, good job!!
I really enjoy both of your channels; so, it was great to see this. I'll definitely stay tuned for any future collaborations! An album?
Nice to see you guys together in one video! Good vibes
do you have the full track for "elegy"? its so amazingly emotional
Oh to be a fly on the wall - but this video is the next best thing! ❤
Ok. But that soaring tortoise guy….
unrehearsed jamming is pure joy
I hope you record a little album together
No entiendo absolutamente nada pero amo todo.
So this is what its like when worlds collide
Love this video
It's a wonderland/ lab.
Very nice, 👏.
Like deployed 👍

💙
Hilowitz Hainbach! Great Work Guys! Love it!
🥰
2 of my favorite youtubers collab. Nothing cant go wrong ♥️ we need look mom no computer and red means recording too! It would be super cool to see what you can do together.
The part of the Sonica Synth is where I think WOW! Unbelievably beautiful 😮
Love both of your channels! Both of you are incredibly talented musicians and have a gift. Looking forward to future content.
"I do my best to play some sort of melody"
... plays something that is equal parts melancholy, haunting, emotive, and absolutely beautiful.
I love seeing you making music with someone else. Its just one of those extremely human experiences that is one of those things that would fall under the category of "living".
Oh what? Oh this is great. Two very likable people getting together? Count me in.
David Hilowitz and Hainbach my beloved
David, your enthusiasm and presence is inspiring and delightful. It's so wonderful to see two of my favourite TH-camrs in the same video. I would love to see more of this!
The feeling you get when two of your friends become friends. :)
So interesting! What a great video!
Thank you for sharing!
just love these vids, whenever i see a new vid from David it makes my day
One of my favorite combinations!!!! If either of you is in the seattle area, I also have a Sonica if you want to hang out.
Such a great video! This should absolutely be a little series. Would love to see another
Two of my fave youtubers in one vid! Must do more in the future!
