Taking the overnight train from Khiva to Tashkent was a great way to interact with the locals and was one of my favorite experiences in Uzbekistan! Would you take this overnight train in Uzbekistan?! Let me know down below! 👇🇺🇿🚆
A “business class” lol. When I took a trip in a Soviet train to Samarkand I chose business class too. Next 7-8 hours spent chilling in a corridor thinking about how naive I am. Welcome to the club buddy 😁
Hi @MattKramerTravels, thank you for sharing your train journey experience with us. I have two questions: 1) at what time of the year did you travel by this train? 2) what number carriage the cafe is located at? Thanks!
I was in Uzbekistan in September. I don't quite remember which carriage the cafe is in but if you get on the train, I'm sure you will be able to find it!
Hi Matt Business class I would not have been expecting to share with 3 strangers fortunately for you you had 3 nice locals share with you but if you don’t mind I’ll give it a miss Ha Ha. Stay safe and well till the next one ☝️. 🇺🇸🏴❤️.
Hi great video. We have just booked a ticket for next month but it looks like the train arrives in "Tashkent South" out of town not far from the airport. Can you remember which station you came into in Tashkent?
Thank you so much! Unfortunately I don't remember which station I arrived to but there should be plenty of taxi drivers outside the station to help you get to where you need to go. Enjoy your trip!
@@MattKramerTravels Thanks for getting back to us. Because we are taking the Sunday night train first class is available so will be interested to see how that is. I have booked a hotel right next to South station so hope I have got the right place. They stop the afternoon train from Bukhara to Khiva next month so we are taking the 4am train which looks as though it provides a similar sleeper service to the one you used as it comes from Tashkent so your video will be very helpful
