On the other hand The us is involved in 6 wars since the conflict in ukraine started 10 years ago. All of these wars are very far away from us main land. There have been a lot more civilians killed in these wars than there have been in ukraine.
There is no side to pick in these wars, both sides are willing to risk an unfathomable amount of civilian lives in order to stay in power. This is the world we live in and if you start pointing fingers at one side you become part of the problem.

When I did service in the Swedish national guard I always joked with my friends about death and they joked back with death to me like “ohhh I’ll come back and haunt you” etc, but the more of this war I see from both sides the more I question how lucky I am. You really create a brotherly bond so hard to break in the army and when a friend whom you see as a brother dies it must really break your heart. He calls his friend the little one, a nickname like many soldiers have myself being rat cause I always ate the remaining uneaten food and I’m small, truly sad.
And now think of it this way, what if Finland (my country) invaded sweden what would YOU think? Would you feel happy to see us dying or would you still feel bad for us if we were destroying your homes? Oh you would be happy to see us falling? Then why are you nit hapoy to see Nazi ruSSia falling when it's doing that EXACT same thing to Ukraine and innocent Ukrainians?

It’s actually conditions like these let let a lot of wounded survive the brutality of war. In Korea many allied troops that were injured made it home because the cold temps caused the blood to freeze around wounds.
The problem is when they got back to see medical treatment they warmed back up, many with more wounds than they knew about it..

China fired shells at Chinese residents in occupied territories to expel Japanese invaders. The Soviet army shelled Russian towns to drive Nazis out of Russia. Shouldn't they have shelled the towns occupied by the Nazis to protect the Russians? No, that's not the case. These actions were right, and it's the same with the Ukrainian military. If there were no aggressors, there would have been no need to shell civilian residential areas in the first place.

My roommate is a Ukrainian veteran, he got medically retired after being wounded on the front lines 3 times and still has shrapnel In his body. And he's a lucky one to now be in Canada. How's this war still going
