And a lot of people end up homeless, especially in big cities like New York or Los Angeles. Not to mention most of the people here are soulless heartless bastards. The public school system and curriculum is absolutely ridiculous. And the healthcare system here is outrageous! A year or two ago I had a blockage in my stomach and I could not eat or drink anything. I think what's interesting is that cancer shouldn't really be related to stress at all. Either we are missing a piece of the puzzle or something he ate/drank on that island has some anti-cancer property that we don't know of. Or the diagnoses was completely wrong and it had to do with the air, though it is unlikely assuming he really went to 9 different doctors.

If he had stayed in the US-thank goodness he didn’t because he’d be bankrupt- he likely would have had the pathology slide sent to an academic center for a second opinion on the cancer or been re-biopsied if he still showed sign of disease. Even cancer can be be tricky to distinguish from reactive, pre-malignant or even normal cells… and can only be diagnosed by how it behaves (it is invasive).
      Clearly he never had cancer. You can treat cancer with nutrition, fresh air or wishful thinking.

      @@miguelangelcifuentescruz689 Those “weird cells” as you call them by definition have mutated to the point that they become invasive, destructive and can spread throughout the body. Some cancers are more indolent and slow growing like prostate cancer…and if diagnosed at an advanced age are best watched as people will die WITH them rather OF them.
      Some cancers look like regular cells under a microscope and thus must be biopsies in a way to document their invasiveness.
      Other masses can look like cancer on scans and are assumed to be so the mistake of not obtaining a biopsy is made-that or a biopsy is refused because the risk or invasiveness or patient risk.
      You can NOT cure cancer with fresh air sunshine and wishful thinking.
      Stop dishonoring the lives of cancer patients who have lost their battle, are fighting, and have survived this horrible illness by suggesting the field of oncology is cruel voodoo. These are the most compassionate empathetic doctors I have met.

      I think it's the stressful US culture. Unfortunately many countries are following the US' footsteps where they always work and work, sleep 6 hours every night, don't even nap in the afternoon, and apparently it's such a normal thing to do that you don't even get paid extra for that? Bullshit! Lack of sleep leads to cancer! And Alzheimer's!

    Wild how some people just overcome death like that. Glad that moving somewhere with healthier air, food, and lifestyle changes gave him more time in good health.
    My mom had a friend who was given just 6 months to live only a few months after her daughters were born. Got multiple opinions, all doctors said the same thing. She said "I will NOT let my daughters grow up without a mother." and insisted she would not die that soon. People thought she was insane.
    She ended up living an extra 15 *years* beyond expectations. I haven't spoken to her daughters in over a decade now, but last I heard, their mother was their hero. She was a wonderful lady. I'm glad she stuck around long enough for me to meet her. Wish i spent more time with that family, but I was just a kid so I didn't have much say.

    My mom has a friend with stomach cancer, she was told 20 years ago it was terminal and she had no more than a few months left… she is a doctor herself, so she knew that what she was told was almost certain to happen… I don’t know how or why, but she’s still alive and doing quite well, she still has cancer, but she’s been able to control it and still goes through chemotherapy, she herself can’t really explain what happened, she just lives her life the best way she can and doesn’t think too much about the “terminal” cancer anymore. Actually saw her a week ago, it’s crazy to me to know that she shouldn’t technically be here anymore, but she is.

    What's interesting is that cancer shouldn't really be fully related to stress at all. Either we are missing a piece of the puzzle or something he ate/drank on that island has some anti-cancer property that we don't know of. Or the diagnoses was completely wrong and it had to do with the air, though it is unlikely assuming he really went to 9 different doctors, and that's pointing fingers at the full validity of the story to begin with.

    • @FrancisR420
      @FrancisR420 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Stress is a massive factor on cancer, cortisol is literally a carcinogen and suppresses your immune response to cancer.
      Laughter has been associated with reduced risk of cancer as well I'm not sure about the science on that one.
      Either way
      The story is somewhat a miracle but it makes sense, nothing about it is impossible as far as it's told here.

    • @bruxinth4660
      @bruxinth4660 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would argue that all cancer is the result of a compromised immune system. Every single person makes 1000 cancer cells per day out of the trillions of cells that make up the body. These cancers never make it anywhere because the immune system, if it is working as intended, quickly detects and snuffs out the cancerous cells.
      The fact his body responded so well to the change of environment and local diet should make you pause to consider if there is something particularly wrong with our air and diet. I would look shrewdly at diet, as ingredients, such as “preservatives”/anti digestives and dyes, that are completely impermissible all over the world are permitted in North America. These FDA “Generally Recognized As Safe” ingredients are often much more sinister than the food industry cares to let on. We have an obesity crisis here in America while obesity is hardly a thing overseas.
      As someone suffering from IBD, I feel extremely cheated and lied to about everything regarding food, nutrition, and health, all for the sake of preventing a trillion dollar food industry from collapsing against the waves of class action lawsuits that will arise when the truth is finally allowed to be generally spread.
